This arrogant and deplorable woman does not know what quality and talent are. His works are hideous and dark.

This Album! One of my favorites! She has two number 1 songs “Jenny From The Block” and “All I Have” such a good song, this album is full of R&B songs! This album is cute because it is dedicated for Ben Affleck. I can’t wait for “This Is Me…Now” that will be released this year!

The most creative and deepest work, I can really enjoy most of its tracks. All of the singles are masterpieces, and I have to mention how great is Loving You and Still, which could've easily been singles. The Critics Reviews are just unfair, it deserved WAY more. Great job, Jenny s2

One of JLo's masterpiece. JLo sounds flawless on her vocals, the music arrangement, production, everything. JLo gave us an amazing piece of art.

The production of this album is impeccable. Even tracks that are not singles are very well produced. This is one of the most careful jobs of the career. The influences of hip hop, soul, and R&B are very well used throughout the 12 tracks. The cover of "You belong To me" is one of the most pleasant surprises of This is Me ... Then.
And there goes 18 years of launch

It has however recieved aless than warm reception from critics, well frankly, I don't understand critics at times. They gave praise to Alicia Keys' highly derivative Songs In A Minor album because of her attention to songcraft overcoming her lack of originality. Why then don't they see that it's the very same case with this album? If anything this sounds much more contemporary than Alicia Keys' album and so, ends up sounds much more fresh. Also, rest assured this album is miles better than J.Lo. That album was a cold calculated excercise in trying repeat the success of Lopez's debut album, On The 6. Unfortunately, with MTV promoting more than ever, J.Lo became a huge undeserved success. This Is Me... Then won't sell as well as J.Lo did. There aren't enough kiddy pop tunes or forays into latin pop on here to appeal to the wider audience. Here, Lopez has found her focus and the result is a satisfying and enjoyable urban/pop album that arguabley surpasses On The 6. Expand

Nothing really special except for "Baby I Love You", which is such an exceptionally good love song, it's impossible not to be moved by it. I loved that song!

I have every single one of j.lo's c.d's and I have rather enjoyed all of them...until now. She cant sing for her life and besides Jenny from the Block all the songs are ballads that she cannot hit the notes on.

  1. Jennifer Lopez makes albums for the same reasons you and I give holiday gifts to people we don't exactly like: vanity and obligation.
  2. Lopez' voice frequently sounds a trifle thin accompanied by the sort of sounds that we're better used to hearing behind a Creative Source or Gwen McRae vocal but the honeyed backing massages any real concerns from your mind.
  3. Even naysayers will have to serve props to Lopez for the considerable growth she reveals as both a performer and tunesmith.
