MattTMar 23, 2005This album, on the depressed edge, is poignant, conveys a feeling of hunger and want and, sometimes pain. It's really beautiful and completely connects with me. I burned my own version and left out "Shame," "Who the..." "No Child of Mine" and "Cat on the Wall" It's still long enough and grabs me completely

MichaelBSep 27, 2004Like much of her work, it takes repeated listenings and an effort to absorb the lyrics, to become attached to Peeg's art. A sparser production for sure, but still a strong amalgam of pure and raw rock.

smacgregorSep 22, 2004A mediocre album from peej. She has tried to go back to the style of the first two albums but its just not convincing this time. Nothing like as good as her best (Dry, rid ofme, to bring you my love, stories...) but probably better than the similarly half-baked "Is this Desire?"

ZetingaAug 29, 2004A lovely record, every song is completely different from the others and it has the spectacular "It's you" :) God Bless PJ

chrisJun 20, 2004like tom waits and bjork, it's hard to lay criticism to someone who distinguishes herself so well. all in all, her most cohesive album since 'to bring you my love'

smenkharonJun 11, 2004Very good album! Excellent production and a couple of guitar tricks she picked up from the Desert Sessions added a very nice new touch! A perfect album for people who don't know her music or have been long time fans!
