Apr 5, 2021A really honest, fun, strong effort from Hazel English. Ranging from slow to galloping, her voice has great tone around every turn and never cheats you for effort. A very good album. I'll be looking for more.

Jul 17, 2020Buen álbum, con canciones descartables aunque un buen debut que se puede mejorar con el tiempo

May 5, 2020Great album! Consistent since the beggining until the end. Standout tracks: Born Like, Combat, Work It Out

May 2, 2020Been following Hazel since her Bandcamp days! she absolutely is one of the most underrated artists

May 6, 2020A strong four-song start to the album. ... Unfortunately the remaining tracks are somewhat of a mixed bag and instead of straddling the line between country and bittersweet indie pop they all too often cross the line into country. These pleasant tunes don’t have enough sharp dynamics to give them an edge and so end up as mostly fluff without so much substance and represent the reflective mood of the album.

May 6, 2020English seems to be working through some thorny relationship issues with a collection of breezy, dreamy indie rock tunes with touches of a little bit of everything from country and contemporary pop to psychedelia and Motown.

Apr 30, 2020The 10 tracks on her debut are all lovingly crafted, but the languid atmosphere means that they sometimes drift into each other.
