    Ultimately Mulvey’s record is once again intriguing, engaging and diverse. A record that is equally accessible and rewarding on multiple listens, the softer side of pop can take plenty more of Nick Mulvey's music.

    Nick would do better to stick to his signature rippling guitar on the ethereal ‘Infinite Trees’, the quietly sensual ‘Lullaby’, or, best yet, the charming ‘Remembering’, which chugs along with a jolty percussive joy.

    While it’s possibly a bit too similar to First Mind to have the same sort of impact that album did, this is still a powerful demonstration of what a fine musician Mulvey is.
