    On his debut album Louis shows his beautiful and honest compositions with a pure voice. I was surprised by his emotion in Two Of Us and Was. Always You and Fearless are honest and sound wonderful. And Defenceless and Kill My Mind is an extra climb for the indie.

    there is no bad music on walls, obviously there is a more faded one, but it remains with quality. quality is not lacking, everything on this album brings innovation and hope for the future of pop

Louis made a confessional material, good arrangements, a sweet voice. It's a well-done continuation of all the work he's done in the best way possible. Tomlinson delivers his heart with real instrumentals and lyrics as we expected from the artist. YouLouis delivered an impeccable and well-produced album, showing that it is not necessary to imitate big music industry today to please fans.     This is Louis Tomlinson's debut album looks very interesting and nostalgic in some songs. I think he found the kind of song he wants and this album sounds like a wonderful time to be in love and to recognise the importance of love and let your love speaks for you.

    well, I was very surprised. wow this album touched me in a way that I can't explain. the lyrics and melodies sounded so perfect to me.
    my conclusion is: it is an album by an artist who is debuting as a solo singer and who can become a great artist. because it still has a lot to show.

    Louis showed us how confident he is now without 1d, the songs are perfect for a debut album, you can certainly identify with his lyrics he deserves much more recognition for making an honest album and not full of superficial things, he sings from the bottom of his heart. i'll never get tired of this album

    This Album is absolutely off the charts incredible! Excellent song writing and amazing melodies. Louis Tomlinson has out done himself. Not a single one of these songs is a skip they all stand on their own and work well great together. He makes you dance, cry, and think of everything you love. Incredible so well done!

    Probaby one of the best albums by a one direction member of all time. It has such an interesting sound and something truly enjoyable. I don't know what's wrong with these reviews but then again, this industry has always favored the mediocre artists over true talent.

    The year has just begun and Walls can already be considered one of the best releases of 2020, Louis Tomlinson manages to bring a very pleasant vibe and his compositions are truly genuine. His voice perfectly matches the melody of the songs and the inspiration in Oasis is notorious, this is certainly an album that will stay in my mind for a long time.

    I loved the indie feel of some of the tracks like Kill My Mind ans Only The Brave and more upbeat pop tracks like Always You and We Made It were great as well! I think there's a song on this album for everyone and I'd highly recommend giving it a listen! Definitely a great debut album for Louis and I cannot wait to see what else he has in store.

    Every song in the album is a lyric masterpiece, he has such a way with words! Songs like Two of Us hit very close to home, they make you very emotional. He did a great job with his debut album, it shows a real honesty in his words, you can tell it's from personal experience. I'm sure it will be on my top 5 of 2020 already

    It’s one of the best albums i’ve listened to in a while. There’s so much emotion and feelings in it, i loved it. It’s a masterpiece. All of the songs have their own thing, none of them are boring. I’ve had a lot of fun listening to it! Definitely 100% would recommend it to anyone.

But also some sweet words for someone who can not yet see the beauty in themselves in Perfect Now (the song has violons, everyone), the story of a young love (maybe too young?) in Too Young and its follow up in Always You, as well as Fearless which might just be my favorite song on the album as of now, closely followed by Walls and Only The Brave (the words "It's a church of burnt romances and I'm too far gone to pray" still get me), a song shorter than two minutes that was the perfect way to end up the album, leaving in our minds the echo of Louis' unmistakable voice.… Expand

    Louis has an unique voice that brings even more emotion to the lyrics. In ‘Defenceless’ the singer shows vulnerability and opens his heart. I feel that a lot of people will relate to the message of several songs on ’Walls’. It is a lovely album. I would certainly hear it again.

    Walls is an album that blows my mind, I mean, really exceeded my expectations, its so authentic, pure and honest, when I heard it the first time, I was feel very sentimental, every second of every song touches my heart, this album make me feel things that I don't understand. I recommend this album whit every part of me, this is a wonderful first album, is definitely another level.

    Louis Tomlinson’s debut is a beautiful authentic record that shows a vulnerable and mature side of the man we used to know as a silly boy. The album has an indie rock vibe from the 90s & 00s with some Oasis inspiration. Louis has written an honest story about love, heartbreak, and self-care with strong lyrics & powerful soft vocals. Walls deserves all the best recognition.

    brilliant album, absolutely lovely voice! I don’t know Louis Tomlinson but his music is very different from what I normally listen to, but it was definitely worth giving a try! I love the chosen lyrics :)

    This album has everything I look for in music: beautiful lyrics, astounding vocals ans incredible melodies and so much instrumentation! I love tge violins in a few songs. The lyrics make feel hopeful, and my favorite song Defenseless so far.

    I just found out about this guy recently and decided to check his album out and it turns out so great! He is so incredibly humble and nice. I really connect with his songs, his lyrics and his music, all of them seems so personal and raw. I really felt that connection between me and his songs which is amazing I would say. I will continue to support this guy definitely. Keep going Louis!

    Lad has the PEN. he can write. his lyrics has a depth to them, the realest artist you'll see out there, he's not afraid to show his emotional/vulnerable side and his lyrics are genuine. Most of all I love his voice, he has a very soothing/rarest voice out there which can convey the emotions and tug at your heartstrings just right, definitely worth a listen.

    This album shows Louis’ growth both as a singer and as a songwriter. His lyrics are really remarkable and his voice sounds perfect in each song. Definitely an album worth listening to.

Fast forward to January and he has now released his debut album- an album filled with a range of fantastic songs all linked in their beautiful lyrics and enchanting melodies. Louis shows a lot of diversity with this album, tunes like the anthem Don’t Let it Break Your Heart, the 90s nostalgic britpop Kill My Mind, the oasis-inspired Walls, the vulnerable and emotional Two of Us (written for his late mother), the pop perfection that is Always You, the honest and heartbreaking Defenceless, among others. I will day this time and time again but Louis Tomlinson is a master of words- he tells a story in his songs and the whole album is a journey through his past experiences and heartbreak. Louis Tomlinson made me fall in love with music again, and for that I will always thank him. Give him a chance if you’ve never heard one of his songs. He is one of those timeless singers who people will be talking about years and years from now, I’m sure.… Expand

    Unbelieved how people still hate this one direction's boys. I just heard the album and the critics who puts him 54 are absolute wrong, the kid did it right and different to the actual music, stop being bad at him and be honest. This is a masterpiece that bring back our childhood

Today, when music is all about production and not lyrics, which is well and good, this album has a lot of amazing lyrics in it, not to say the production isn't good, it was really good. But being a lyrics person, I appreciate those words he's got down.     Beautiful, heartfelt album. You can tell there is real emotion in the lyrics and his voice through the entire album. It’s an album that stands on its own and isn’t like every other album. Really amazing. Great album.

    Try as he may, Tomlinson has not quite progressed from featured voice to solo artist. For all the major changes in his life, his music seems to be stuck in place. You can take the boy out of the boyband, but not the boyband out of the boy.

    Even if the songs on Walls aren't the most distinct or memorable, they come from a place of authenticity that's genuinely heartwarming and enjoyable. Like any other settled adult, he's perfectly content to stick to the reliable and Walls winds up being the most mature and natural of the ex-1D bunch.
