Dec 22, 2015Aside from the good production, this album is nothing but a generic pop-rap album. There is no depth in this album. I did like a couple songs like Random, Everything will be OK, and Sad Boy but other than that, this album is garbage.
If it's trendy, G Eazy will try to emulate it

Dec 19, 2015I like this album. Best tracks 'Me, Myself and I', 'One of them', 'Order More', and 'You got me'. Everything is ok, but nothing special. The worst is track with Grace. 7/10

Jun 13, 2016"When it's Dark Out" is a great album. It is quite different from his previous works. there are good songs and there are those which you even don't wanna hear, those songs can be attributed to one of the singles "order more".

Jun 13, 2017It is surely a great album. It has everything from stronger rap to slower and calmer rap. The lyrics focus on G-Eazy's personal issues. It has some skipable tracks like You Got Me or What If. To sum up, despite the weaker tracks, it is my favourite rap album and it is surely worth recommendation, so it deserves a 9/10.

Dec 10, 2015A second album that could’ve hit a home run if it hadn’t worked so hard to cover all the bases.

Dec 10, 2015There aren't many surprises here for fans, save for the fact that he manages to spin the same nocturnal stories of drugs, partying, and fornicating over 17 addictive tracks without it ever growing stale.

Dec 10, 2015When It's Dark Out marks a vast leap forward: His cadences are more agile, his boasts more boastful, his guest list tighter (Too Short, E-40, Kehlani).
