    Original Review: It took me two full listens, but ultimately this album really impressed me. It’s a potpourri of atmospheres: part horror film, part coffeehouse, part indie version of Britney Spears’ dark-pop masterpiece Blackout (some of the Halloween-esque production is reminiscent of Nate Hills’ work with Britney in 2007); it’s an honest, intimate work that’s unnerving, humorous, and raw. If Sigrid was the sunnier version of Pure Heroine, Billie’s debut is its darker underbelly.     this definitly is something new and amazing. She comes across different and does her own thing. This record is one of the best pop albums ive heared past years. Its so refreshing to actually see a good person becoming famous.

    Last year, I thought Billie Eilish was just another tumblr kid. Back in fall 2018 I really fell in love with her EP and her singles from this album. The album finally came out at the end of March, my most anticipated album this year, and I LOVED IT! She is so cool! She reminds me of Fiona Apple but she is much more mainstream.     It is very difficult to express what this album becomes along the tracks, it is something so charming and majestic that makes us appreciate the work even more, besides the sensitivity it carries, certainly one of the greatest revelations of this generation.

    Billie was one of the few artists that got me just on the first album. She brought such a snap of the dark but the light at the end and her sweet and soft voice of the will to listen, over and over again. This is good in an album because it does not bring fatigue and power to stop listening. Sensational.

    bad guy: 10/10(the beginning is crazy, the production throughout the song is wonderful especially in the chorus. The last part is unexpected but it spices the track up. Single worthy.)
    xanny:9.5/10(When I first listened to song, I hate it due to the excessive distortion. However, I soon realized that it's because the quality of the headphone I was using. It sounds much better on a better headphone.)

    Probably one of the best debut albums of all time! The production makes this whole body of work very cohesive and enjoyable. The story being told by each song is very intriguing and I love how Billie included a wrap up song like ‘goodbye’. Overall a 10/10. Awesome job Billie!

    One of the most well produced and experimental debut albums of all time. From the story telling to transitions in tracks billie made a loud statement with this album. Little sounds that are hidden. Emotion is portrayed so deeply. Ending it with goodbye was a genius move. Being that this is her debut she only has room for more in the future.

The production by FINNEAS, Billie's brother, is on point and is probably the best production I've heard this year in an album. It's so coherent and very well put together.     Simplemente asombroso. Eilish logra transportar a cualquier persona sin importar su edad a los miedos, inseguridades, molestias de un adolescente promedio.     Although the mainstream may have overplayed the album which is not as bad as one may think ,this album is one of the best pop projects of the decade. It is genre bending and full of potential. very much excited for her next LP.

    in all honesty this is one of the best albums I’ve ever listened to. its an emotional roller coaster from start to finish and it actually tells a story. its a very coherent album as well because from the start it has a specific feel but as you go through the tracks the story keeps going and the feel of the album changes as well. love this album, will never get enough of it.

    The lyrical depth of every track begs for our engagement. It has the magnetism that keeps you in your car before going into the grocery store, listening to track over track, teasing out all the levels of meaning in each stanza. All the while, you are trying to wrap your head around the idea that a 17 year and her older brother wrote, performed and recorded this album in her bedroom! The music elucidates truths people in their 40s have yet to discover.

    The lyrics grab us, but the acoustical complexity and wholly original arrangements keep us in that car. The arrangements feature melodic beats, samples from The Office and crosswalk beepers and Billie's laughter, all perfectly orchestrated together with Billie's beautiful vocals and expressive intonation.

    There isn't a single bad track on the album. Putting this album on repeat is a truly great way to spend an afternoon.    … Expand

    I love this album, the vocals and production are unlike anything you would ever expect to hear on a mainstream pop record. The songwriting is great and the album has a variety from bops such as bad guy to ballads like when the party's over. Every track is obviously different but it's still a cohesive body of work. Love it! aoty for a reason
