    Wild One is a deeply personal tale of coming into adulthood from a band that certainly has some promising growth ahead.

    Sometimes Wild One wears its influences a little too hard on its sleeve, or strives too hard to create something anthemic with across-the-board appeal.

    There's still plenty to like about the insular production and engaging melodies of Wild One, but I can't help but think North Highlands have a lot more to offer that doesn't always show up here.
