Streamlined perfection in their song writing and a perfect marriage with the superlative producer and occasional bandmate Tim Friese-Greene. Maybe it's has just gotten better over the years, but even at it's release I found the music, riffs and unmistakable Friese-Greene production as the sign of a band that had grown up and was ready to reinvent themselves for Y2K. Rather sad that poor reviews for this album killing it's sales pretty much broke them. The world deserved more of them. Full Review »
