21 Savage and Offset team up to make a very solid album with great production from Metro Boomin. 33 minutes in total and 10 tracks in total is a decent amount for the album. 2 features, one from Travis Scott and the other from Quavo, makes sure that the spotlight isn't taken away from Offset and 21. Out of the 10 tracks, there's 6 tracks where Offset and 21 are rapping together, 2 tracks with Offset alone, and another 2 with 21 alone. The album has a lot of positives, such as the very nicely made hook on "Ghostface Killers". I felt as if the album didn't get so much attention, with the song being the most known was "Ric Flair Drip". 21 and Offset do not fail to compliment each other throughout this album, with one giving the other ad-libs, and vice versa. Something this albums does very well compared to other trap albums is the difference among the songs. Each song sounds unique in its own way, primarily thanks to Metro Boomin on the production. Overall, "Without Warning" is a very dark sounding and compelling album. Expand

With only good songs, being Ghostface Killers and Ric Flair Drip, this album isn't very good. Most of the beats and lyrics sound the same, which makes this album bland. However, Ghostface Killers and Ric Flair Drip are truly AMAZING, and they make this album alright.

There is nothing new in terms of lyrics and themes, but Metro Boomins production is fantastic as usual, and Offset and 21 Savage play well off each other. It's a very good trap album.

The song "Ghostface Killers" which starts off the album is a real banger with tight verses from Offset, 21 Savage and featuring Travis Scott, and the whole album overall has a very cool halloweeny dangerous vibe to it, but even after two listens the other songs never really hooked as well as the first one, and a lot of times the lyrics are pretty much the same stuff. While the album doesn't push anything for 21 Savage or Offset, Metro Boomin seems to do his thing at his best on Without Warning.

Offset, the most versatile and skilled of Migos, presents the extreme majority of lyrical substance on Without Warning, and without Offset I wouldn't be able to tolerate the ramblings of 21 Savage. Even so, Offset sounds like the same Offset; not overly impressively skilled unless compared to 21 Savage on Without Warning or his fellow members of Migos. Metro Boomin, as mentioned, produced the album nicely.

The album was better than the majority of albums in its sub-genre of rap music—music that 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Migos, Future, and Travis Scott dominate. It concisely summed up the little that can be appreciated from these 'lit' artists, and stayed in that lane, while barely scratching the surface of what we call "art." While Without Warning is more noteworthy than it's album-peers, in the grand scheme of rap and hip-hop, it's not the slightest bit remarkable. I might play this for my kid in 2027 when he asks, "What music was popular when you were in highschool?"

Released on Halloween and after a year of listening, this collaborative album consisting of Metro Boomin', Offset, and 21 Savage offers one of the most memorable albums coming out of the Trap Era of Hip-Hop by reflecting on the darker, more grittier tones of actually living in the trap. The menacing beats by Metro played off by Offset and especially 21 Savage just works perfectly. While trap albums are notoriously known for their mediocre lyrics that are just there for rappers to flow on the production, 21 somehow manages to give off funny one-liners that are Disrespectful to say the least to older America. Overall, a top 5 trap album that should be known with the likes of Rodeo by Travis Scott and DS2 by Future Expand

Without Warning really takes advantage of the rapping quality of 21 Savage and (especially) Offest, who outperforms here and then, combined to the high quality beats made by Metro Boomin. Here you can find banger tracks such as Ric Flair Drip, but also some "grimey" songs like Ghostface Killers or Nightmare. Typical generic western crap that Americans listen to pretending to be edgy.

Nothing missed in skipping this one.

All the more powerful for jumping from comic invocations of Ric Flair and Friday The 13th to casual and viciously flippant references to Xanax and other addictions. [Jan 2018, p.78]

The "Issa Album" was a full course meal while "Without Warning" ends up being more of a snack.

The best song comes early in “Ghostface Killers”, with an excellent rapped chorus from Offset that’s been running through my head since the tape dropped and Travis Scott sounding excellent as always even if he doesn’t say much anything at all.
