Yellowcard may still stand as one of their most impressive feats yet. Serving as their most captivating and emotive release since Ocean Avenue.

Yellowcard never feels treacly or forced. It's emo for grownups and a proper close for a band that wanted to go out on its own terms.

This album is a perfect representation of what this band has and always will be--brave, real, and resolutely striving for something different.

Classically Yellowcard in sound, all violins and driving drum rolls, it's a fitting tribute to their two decades on the job. [1 Oct 2016, p.52]

Although they’ve occasionally strayed from that style of pop-punk over the 13 years since that collection debuted in 2003, their tenth and final record features glimmers of their former selves--for better and for worse.

From the upbeat opening track "Rest in Peace" to the beautiful 7 minute finale "Fields and Fences", this ten track album beautifully represents what the band has stood for. With tracks such as "Got Yours" which pays homage to early 2000's pop punk, and the haunting piano track "Leave a Light On" which will tear at your heart strings, the band really laid it all out there with a sense of truth and honesty that will forever reflect the group in a positive light. Yellowcard have truly come full circle with this album, encompassing everything from Ocean Avenue to Lift A Sail. Standout songs are Leave A Light On, Empty Streets and Fields & Fences. If you're a Yellowcard fan, Fields and Fences will hit your emotions pretty hard. It's thier final song and one that features great lyrics, vocals, and of course violin work. Incredible career and album by an incredible band. Thanks for the memories Yellowcard Expand
