    It may be brutally obvious, but it's brilliant - especially considering how wishy-washy the dance-rock crossover albums have been lately.

    It's a good first album. Listen to it and make up your own mind. This is a perfect teen party album... it's got hooks, it's got trashy electro punk riffs.. and yes it's totally influenced by all previous bands, (of course it is!!!) ; it's made by commercial hipsters for commercial hipsters and that's what makes this rock. Don't be a music snob! Just have It's a good first album. Listen to it and make up your own mind. This is a perfect teen party album... it's got hooks, it's got trashy electro punk riffs.. and yes it's totally influenced by all previous bands, (of course it is!!!) ; it's made by commercial hipsters for commercial hipsters and that's what makes this rock.     There are few cds more fun to listen to. While not too experimental, it really wasn't supposed to be. All the best parts from bands like Daft Punk (particularly Robot Rock), compiled to a live band that would be a cd anyone should enjoy.

    I was surprised that this album didn't fair well with critics. I guess that's why I don't put too much faith into them.

    I find it a rather enjoyable album. Good songs. Also doable for the adult audience - like me at 44. Try it out.
