Love the new look, it still feels like South Park. Really enjoyed the short campaign, it took me about 6 hours. The story and voice acting was great, felt like an episode. For a $30 game, well worth the investment. Look forward to future updates!
Considering the previous 2 games this one falls short of the mark. The controls are clunky, the upgrade system is kinda boring and a bit of a mess. It's nice to see the switch to 3D but I don't really think it was necessary, the 2D games were alot of fun. Overall nice try and still enjoyable but not a scratch on its predecessors.
I've felt like south park was a bit past it's prime before this game came out but once I played this I knew I was right, how can Matt and Trey let this be released like come on, just feel like they're not as hands on as they make **** effort and just not that enjoyable really, like even the jokes feel weak and the audio is weird like the voices change a lot.
In this game, South Park becomes child's play in terms of humor, lacking the acidic humor and references that are classic in the series. The main characters "accompany" you solely through a poorly executed phone, repeating dialogues incessantly, much like the enemies who also incessantly repeat dialogues, rarely uttering a profanity. It only features 5 main missions, enjoyable the first few times but becoming monotonous thereafter. The "multiplayer" mode lacks interest if you don't have friends on the same platform (because no, the game isn't crossplay), making it boring. The absence of key characters like the boys, Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny, who only appear in the background, and other characters like Wendy, Craig, Clyde, Scott, and adults such as Randy, Gerald, and even the teachers, is deeply felt. This results in experiencing only the marvelous world of South Park where they are the main focus. In the previous two games, it was exciting to use the boys and others, each with their different abilities, full of humor and charisma, something overlooked here, even though Phone Destroyer (a free game) has it. They could have included all these characters in the form of support cards or spells, but they didn't even manage that. The story idea is good and feels soulfully written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, but THQ failed to apply it to a video game. I understand the game costs $30, but I would have preferred to wait another 2 or 3 years for a good game priced at $70. The only positive aspect is the graphics; the 3D modeling of the town, characters, and effects are beautiful, although the excessive snow obscures the beauty of the town a bit. I know snow is the main theme of the game, but they went overboard. If the game isn't updated soon, it will be just another paperweight.
SummaryCarX Highway Racing is a mix of lifelike physics which has been the center point of CarX Drift Racing 2, eye-catching graphics and extreme driving on traffic-packed roads.
