Buy GCII, and you may never need another strategy game ever again. [Dec 2008, p.64]
The lack of truly stellar presentation isn't a big deal though, as you won't be playing Galactic Civilizations II: Endless Universe for its aesthetic qualities, you'll play for the engrossing gameplay.
Endless Universe is a terrific package, offering a staggering amount of gameplay for the price, and even after two years from its original release, Galactic Civilizations II has lost none of its charm, depth or playability.
Impressive in size, but the lack of multiplayer might turn some strategists off. [Issue#14, p.60]
