Alien Escape delivers in mindless fluff. [Sept 2002, p.81]
The levels are too drawn-out and repetitive, and I odn't really care for the theme, but underneath it's a no-bull shooter steeped in classic gameplay juices. [Sept 2002, p.148]

Fun in small doses, but it just doesn't have the hooks to keep you playing.
Frustrating....It's not just that the level is tough, it's that the entire thing is filled with situations designed to prolong the game's length. [Sept 2002, p.114]
A super bland, utterly forgettable shooter that doesn't do the movie or the animated series any justice.
One of the most frustrating games in the entire PlayStation 2 library, thanks to a few design flaws that could've been easily avoided.
The only thing more painful than watching a rehashed movie sequel is, well, playing a videogame based on a rehashed sequel.
i played this like thousands of times because i just love the saga and this game it's pretty good if you want to enjoy a good mib game. The amount of aliens is also pretty good, there's a lot of aliens in this game

to whom it may concern, i bought this game for one reason and one reason only; the alien featured in the movie who ignited a passion burning deep within me, one man (with two heads.) iirc i paid £1 for this terrible terrible game from my conveniently local CEX store in camden town high street, london. i was so excited to take the 60 minute bus journey home (during a TFL strike) and pop this puppy into my ps2 also purchased from the conveniently local CEX whilst living in bristol, a mere two months earlier which is connected to a 14" CRT TV that i bought from ebay and struggled to lug home from the conveniently local DPD drop off location. but to my abject dismay, Johnny Knoxville is absolutely no where to be seen in this game unless you count the misleading trailer found in the classified section. unfortunately CEX's return policy is 24 hours from purchase date so now i'm stuck with this NOTSville game.
