    Indivisible is one of the best RPGs of the year. A masterclass in game design, Indivisible is funny, challenging and creative in equal measure. A few difficulty bumps can't take away from what is an almost perfect example of turn-based RPG genius. The production values are through the roof, and the game will have you rapt from beginning to end.

    Everything in Indivisible – from the colorful visuals to the “Oooom” noise when you save your game – is calculated to delight. Despite some uneven difficulty, both the platforming and battle systems entertain. But it’s the character design and voice work that is really the star of the show here, making Indivisible a strong contender whether you are a genre fan or not.

    You will definitely like Indivisible's great art style, animations and cinematics. But unfortunately, gameplay mechanics and story telling are not quite good.

    Indivisible is a rare game that can rise above so many things not coming together, and whether you decide to dive in now with all its faults or wait another year for the ongoing polishing efforts to pay off, it will deliver a fantastic adventure that should easily stay with you long past the final closing credits.

    It looks good (mostly), and has all the qualities that seem like it would make a great game. Not only does it fail to come together coherently, yet it also it lacks a sense of magic or "heart" that the art style would suggest it possesses. While nothing is largely technically wrong with Indivisible, it fails to be engaging as a RPG, its platforming fails to recommend it on this front, and the story never goes anywhere significant to offer this up either. This isn't bad, but it just isn't that good either.

    It's more than an homage to Valkyrie profile, it's better than it's inspiration but just as much an excellent metroidvania.

    Oh, how I wanted to love this game. I played the demo and enjoyed it so when I saw it on sale I figured it’d be a great throwback to Xenogears and Valkyrie Profile. That was a mistake. The first major issue is the story. It has breakneck pacing. This isn’t always a bad thing, though. Here though it just makes no sense. There is barely any exposition and things just don’t make sense.

    The combat is fun, but it is a bit too frantic. It can get really overwhelming once you have a full party.

    The other major issue that didn’t work is the lack of equipment. Those are JRPG staples. Perhaps the studio ran out of money or was rushed but it was something I felt was needed to make this stand up to the other games it was based on.

    All and all, it’s not the worst RPG on the PS4. If you can stand the nonsensical plot and too frantic of combat, it’ll probably be your thing. Anyone else? Play Ys VIII or something else instead.    … Expand

    So disappointing, i had really high hopes this was going to be great, and after playing it by 4~6 hours, it started to get really boring, theSo disappointing, i had really high hopes this was going to be great, and after playing it by 4~6 hours, it started to get really boring, the storytelling has a lot of problems, when you die you are instantly teleported to the checkpoint which feels really cheap (meaning, like it was a cheap game). Another thing i don't like was the voice acting, i thing skullgirls had a decent voice acting, not sure what happened, but in this, i really don't feel the "acting", it's like they are just reading a script, i'm not an native english speaker, but i just didn't like it… Expand
