    Ultimately, Hearts of Stone sets the standard for what we should expect from premium content, and not just because of its price tag. This is DLC that puts many retail releases to shame.

    Hearts of Stone is a stirring good time and a great expansion the whole way ‘round. It doesn’t just give us a couple new missions spread out over the same areas, bringing in the same characters, and simply offering a few new pieces of equipment. This goes above and beyond, delivering an entirely new customization mechanic, excellent story missions, a boatload of surprising charm, fantastic variety in terms of objectives, activities and locations, and a new romance that’s well worth pursuing.

    Gaming expansions are somewhat unavoidable these days, but rarely do they feel as worthwhile as The Witcher 3's Hearts Of Stone does. Its superb story is complimented by excellent characters, and there's more than enough new content to make it an essential addition to Geralt's adventures.

    If you’re looking for an example of how to create meaningful downloadable content that doesn’t feel exploitative, you’d be hard pressed to find a better example than Hearts of Stone.

    Although I prefer B&W, HOS is also amazing. Great story, cool characters both old and new, some really cool boss fights, as a whole its very enjoyable

    Great addition to the Wild Hunt and the story of Geralt. The DLC tells its own, completely new and more light hearted tale of the Witcher. The story is very well told, introduces some interesting new (and old) characters and new enemys and always remains exiting throughout the whole 10 to 15 hours you will spend on this DLC. While it doesn't reinvents the core game, it does extend the world a little and adds a fun new rune system, that allows for more customization of weapons and amour. If you liked the Witcher 3, this is a must buy and at about 10 bucks also very reasonably priced. But if you did not find enjoyment in the original game, i doubt this extension will change your mind.… Expand
