Fans of the show and of complicated RPGs will no doubt find plenty to love here in the likable characters, complex character customization, and frantic battle system while those who would consider themselves to be unfamiliar with RPGs or the anime will no doubt be put off by the uneven, sometimes cringe-worthy writing, lack of effective tutorials, and general tedium present throughout the whole experience. We’d give Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization a recommendation overall – this is a good, quality RPG – just make sure you do a bit of research in advance to confirm that it’s what you’re looking for.
This game is great especially for beginners of SAO game series Fans of the anime would be delighted to interact with their favorite Characters and meet some new faces such as Kizmel from the Elf war campaign featured in the Progressive light novels and for people who are not a fan of the TV series can enjoy holllow realizations great combat, for fans of the original Game released on the PS4 the deluxe edition on switch is next to perfect when it comes to portability and I hope Alicization lycoris Gets Ported to switch.
Not sure why there are two fake reviews here. It doesn't need fake reviews, it is a great game.
You need to fall in to a certain bracket to like this game. It is supposed to be Anime but I consider this to be more in the cartoon bracket. It has a very child friendly vibe. The conversations, the discussions are not dark and deep, they are light hearted and with little point to them. It is just happy fun.
Combat is hack and slash, graphics are lovely. Yes not ground breaking detail, or best optimisation for that matter but it just makes a lovely world and the sound just goes perfectly.
I find adventuring around open worlds completely boring. It is always over rated but I just enjoyed it here. I love that I can have a chat whilst playing my game and not losing track of either game, or conversation. I love that I can run around one handed whilst I sip my wine and then when see a baddy, put both hands back on.
It is a lovely peaceful game. I have over 60 Switch games and this has remained in my top row of most played forever and it is one of the earliest games I bought for my Switch. To put this in perspective I have **** valley, which is on 3x the use because I have two kids that play that to death, Fire Emblem 3 Houses my favourite SRPG, Ys Origin my 2nd fav action adventure RPG and Garou Mark of the Wolves my favourite fighter ever are the only other games up there on the winners table with this. I think that speaks volumes.
Not for everyone but if it is your cup of tea, you'll love it
If you aren’t interested in Kirito and Asuna’s budding romance or Yui playing the dual-roles of both game guide and in-game daughter, you aren’t likely to derive a lot of entertainment from Hollow Realization. There are better action-RPGs on Switch, such as the aforementioned Ys VIII, but certainly none that give the freedom of exploring and interacting your favourite SAO personalities.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is filled to the brim with tons of content and story details that makes it more than worth the reasonable price tag. Fans of the Sword Art Online franchise have a lot to do and tons of easter eggs to uncover with allies from across the anime, and will undoubtedly enjoy this new foray into Ainground.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition is based on an engaging premise. However, this clumsy port of a title not exactly excellent fails to realize the potential that has fascinated the public.
I have indulged in the game and the game is really terrific. I have so much fun with it. Améisten together with a very good friend. I've done a lot in the game and played in my game for about 300 hours. it is so much fun. thanks that this game has come on the switch. The Game is awesome. I Love Sao so much.
I think this game is great on the switch, personally. I will say for sure that 90% of the content on the PlayStation 4 is in this game, the only thing I believe is missing is the ordinal scale pre-order stuff from back when they're trying to advertise the movie, but all in all it's still good and also handheld mode can be a little tough on the game but it's not the worst thing ever.
This game is pretty average. Not a bad one but I must say it goes from an action game to a visual novel with some action scenes. The voice acting is pretty good. But in all honestly this game did decently with the basis of the train wreck that is SAO. I played it and it can be fun. But sometimes it can be incredibly confusing and just give bad directions in general. I suggest that if you want to play this game you better bust out a guide.
