May 11, 2023Sheeran recently remarked that he'd give up making 'music' if he lost his plagiarism court case. He won, so that's a big win for him and a loss for every discerning music lover that has to suffer listening to his muzak.

Jun 8, 2023It's boring and long. one time listen, the instrumental is also boring and Ed's voice is sometime annoying

May 22, 2023não gosto de jeito nenhum os trabalhos dele, ja tentei gostar mas não cai bem em meus ouvidos

May 19, 2023I try to connect with this dude's music but why does he always give us such bad projects?
-
May 10, 2023It's really bad…. Without any more words, We didn't expect much and we didn't get enough either
-
May 5, 2023An album so dull it fails to leave any impression at all even after repeated listenings.
-
May 7, 2023In general, I like Ed and would listen to him fairly regularly, but each song on this album slowly bled into the next, and so on, and so on, and so on, and so on... Nothing of interest stood out to me on my first listen, so hopefully it grows on me.

May 6, 2023Corny, generic and boring. Songs just blend together, nothing interesting here. Classic Sheeran, music for shopping malls and masses.
-
May 5, 2023Sadly this was one of his more boring albums. I found myself drifting off to sleep when I was listening to this album. Lyrically it fell short from past work like "X". Not my favorite.
-
May 5, 2023I personally found this album quite boring. It seems like he is trying so hard to get his "folklore" or "evermore" and he's doing it in a bad way. The lyrics were boring but oh well..
-
May 29, 2023I haven't listened to this record yet, but i will judge the book by its cover: it's Ed Sheeran, so it can't be higher than a 3.

May 10, 2023No matter how much aesthetic cosplay Sheeran is willing to engage in, though, he’s still pumping out the same cheese-filled anthems that have plagued his previous albums.
-
May 10, 2023Sheeran is naturally a laid-back performer, the pair fit almost a little bit too neatly: where certain hooks and melodic refrains would've been pushed into the spotlight on previous Sheeran albums, they're lying in the background here. That tender touch when combined with a preponderance of ballads turns - (subtract) into a curiously recessive album: its emotions are raw, yet its execution is reserved.

May 10, 2023-, pronounced “subtract,” which responds to them much like its predecessor, 2021’s =, did to its themes of turning 30 and becoming a parent: with the usual beige palette, generic hooks, and vapid lyrics. The songs on - are almost uniformly dour, often slow, occasionally drumless.
