This album is just not good and does not hold up to 1000 gecs. 100 gecs is known for their versatility, genre bending, and randomness, but it seems like on this new album, they tried too hard to be what they already were. Not to mention, but the sound on this album is stupid, songs like "frog on the floor" and "I got my tooth removed" just sound so stupid, and i know that their thing, butThis album is just not good and does not hold up to 1000 gecs. 100 gecs is known for their versatility, genre bending, and randomness, but it seems like on this new album, they tried too hard to be what they already were. After listening to this album I want to bleach my ears and jump off a bridge into a river with a 200kg stone tied to my ankles.

The very nature of the group's hyperbolic and perpetually exploding design means they're still inherently polarizing, love-it-or-hate-it kind of music. For those who love it, 10,000 Gecs offers more -- so much more, always more -- to love.

The musical tailoring is both electric and refreshingly liberating, with rich textures and stark contrasts. Always perfectly balanced, with a minutely tuned on and off switch that also leaves room for silence.

They take the refuse of pop culture’s past and transform it into something deeply and necessarily joyful.
