One of the most incredible debut albums of the year so far.

Sorry have somehow managed to mould something immediate and accessible but undeniably in their own image. It’s a truly special debut, one that makes strange magic at every turn.

925 retains all the elements that have previously made Sorry such an intriguing and compelling proposition whilst adding a new sheen to their sound. It’s a thrilling and thoroughly modern album that manages to be experimental, dangerous, swaggering, unique, and also hugely accessible.

Nothing is ever explained, but ambiguity only reinforces Sorry's wonderfully slippery presence. [Apr 2020, p.95]

On 925, Sorry lovingly poke fun at themselves and at rock history—but they also prove they’ve got the talent to go further than their gags.

We can chalk these relatively minor missteps up to inexperience or over-excitement at finally releasing an album, and when you consider the heights that Sorry reach at points on 925 then it’s entirely forgivable. Overall, it would be hard to call 925 anything other than a great success, and one that should see Sorry’s star rise even higher – that’s if the public can get on board with their slightly unhinged view of things.

Too many of the tracks dissolve into an atmosphere-for-the-sake-of-it sludge, yanking you into consciousness only every once in a while.

    ( 80/100 )

This new band from north London is serious about being one of the bands of the future to save the essence of the underground Rock. Somber and with Gothic and Indie traces, "925" will put to dance in vices to their public. Sorry is a duo conformed by best friends Asha Lorenz and Louis O'Byen who show to have a dynamic musical intention that merges the most attractive elements of underground and Indie with creativity and cleverness. The seriousness of this album can be very easily enjoyed. The lyrics are versatile with the music and the music is audacious in its way because of how it jumps between melodies and arrangements to play with the mood, the musical speech, and the emotion they want to spread to people. This is a really complete production in essence and technique that promises a great future.
