Asgeir is an excellent musician: However I believe he is yet to find his existential or emotional self. Asgier, this album, although technically excellent is hollow.

    Asgeir has a wonderful, perspective changing potential: But as mentioned, this album is hollow. Where are you in this album? Where are your struggles? Where is your heart? Where is your sound? Not a sound on a complicated MIDI sheet, but your sound, where are you?

    It's hard to find an album so rich with original production. Asgeir's voice, while mostly at the forefront of these songs, can be heardIt's hard to find an album so rich with original production. Asgeir's voice, while mostly at the forefront of these songs, can be heard fluttering in the form of wisps in the background. His songwriting, in my opinion, has also improved from his last album. Some of the lyrics lean more on the generic side, which takes away from the effect of the album, but there are glimpses of greatness in the lyrics. Do yourself a favor and listen to this, I think it will be worth your time. Full Review »
