A debut on par with the music of Massive Attack, Underworld or Kruder & Dorfmeister.
  2. Nguyen has created what will probably be one of 2003's best albums. 'Again' is a dark and sexy record that reveals itself seductively over time.
  3. It's the kind of recording many people can enjoy and want to have in their collection. You can throw it on in most any circumstance. It has the sensuality to seduce, the edge to agitate and the style to inspire.
  4. Filter

Music for smoking and looking bored has rarely ever been this decisively brilliant. [#10, p.98]
  5. Again would have made a much more solid album had it exhausted its ideas in half the runtime. As it stands, there's simply not enough development within any track to justify its length, and the loops are too subdued and unengaging to hold its listeners' attention.

Although modern electronic fans may find Nguyen's well-versed reconstruction of the past a bit too underwhelming... studied rock postmodernists will find his mix of retro-influences and garage-y vibes worthwhile. [#7, p.72]
  7. Again is probably one of the most derivative albums I’ve ever heard. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though.
  8. Urb

Colder's continuous atmosphere of experimentation, and his own off-kilter vocal delivery, keep you on the edge of your ledge. [Jun 2004, p.84]

Brilliant Album. Critics don't know what they are talking about. Has stood the test of time and simply gets better and better.
