Their music is tighter, sharper and aiming for the jugular in its first shot. In the simplest terms, the band crafted a record that fills the bigger venues they are sure to be playing now and in the future.

PVRIS might have been to hell and back, but a new era is here, and it’s utterly brilliant.

By the time ‘No Mercy’ arrives, there’s no escaping how catchy this record is.

On All We Know, PVRIS take a crucial step on the right course toward finding their own trademark sound.

All 10 tracks here bear such scars, adding up to a staggering work of honesty, beauty and artistic achievement. It’s hugely impressive on those terms alone... but even more so given everything PVRIS endured in its creation.

An incredibly intricate and powerful album. It draws upon influences from numerous genres and doesn't neatly fit into any single one.

In some ways it feels like a far more fleshed out and developed version of what artists like AURORA, Purity Rings, Chvrches and even Grimes are doing (not meant as a slight to any of them, all of whom are great and of whom I consider Grimes an era-defining artist).

It is 'pop' enough to hook casual listeners if they give it a bit of time.

Worth it for any music enthusiast.
