    As precious as your grandma's finest china (and 10 times prettier), All Will Prosper nearly dissolves into shapeless clouds by album's end. But by then you've already dissolved into it.

    All this adds to a gentle atmosphere of regret, of unhurried contemplation of things and people who are no longer around us.

    More to the point, it sounds like a souvenir CD you might pick up at the gift shop of a historic battlefield site.

    So while this new set of Civil War-era songs is an often beautiful listen, they end up obscuring Kenniff's musical vision rather than illuminating it.
