All Your Favorite Bands is plenty polished, but scratch the surface and there’s close to zero going on beneath it; it’s the kind of record that you’re in danger of forgetting before it’s even finished playing.

He's poignant and crisp throughout every track and as a guitar player of over 20 years i have to envy his fresh take on guitar-driven roots rock on this effort. The songs are catchy, touching, heartbreaking, and imbued with a latent sense of hope. The band as a whole is tight and every composition is perfectly crafted. Can't say enough for this effort from Dawes. I've spun it a ton already and I know I'll keep coming back for years to come. Full Review »
