    It's nice to see transition to a new sound on this release than his previous ones. He's best known for making hip hop beats, but delves into a more jungle/breakbeat/percussion oriented groove on most of this thing. He sounds like he knows what he's doing, and is enjoying himself here, but the tracks are too minimal and a tad bland. I was hoping bring something more to the table.

    Clocking in at 61 minutes, Alternate/Endings haphazardly splices together twelve breath-stealing drum & bass tracks recorded throughout 2012 and 2013; the result is more a tasting menu than an actual statement.

    [The album] fires out volleys of convincing Metalheadz-style jungle breakbeats, embedded in brooding sound collages apparently influenced by Jonny Greenwood's score for There Will Be Blood. [Mar 2014, p.71]
