    There are other times when the songs feel half-finished: Expecting to Lose lopes along pleasantly enough but its wordless chorus sounds like a placeholder that was never removed, and You Need Me has the same issue.

    In the end, what could be an album of well-earned indulgence ends up being as much about reaching outward than burrowing inward, rendering deep personal suffering with a humane light touch. And It’s Still Alright the heartening sound of music pulling him through his pain, and, hopefully, past it into something like solace.

    Nathaniel se siente un poco más en control en este proyecto personal. La música tiene un nivel de sensibilidad que es lo que mantiene a flote al álbum. Es agradable escuchar proyectos que logran evocar sentimientos que pueden ser reflejados en paisajes, y en "And It's Still Alright" hay bosque soleado cuyas copas de los pinos dejan pasar la luz del sol que se extenderá hasta donde alcance la vista. Lo bueno de este viaje es que también hay compañía, una compañía simpática y madura que te dará tu propio espacio si así lo necesitas o te dará un cálido abrazo cuando quieras. Este Folk muy Country e Indie es un tranquilo espacio que mucha gente apreciará en momentos de tensión.

    Nathaniel feels a little bit more in control in this personal project. The músic has a sensibility level that keeps the album afloat. It is nice to hear projects that achieve to evoke feelings that can be reflected in landscapes, and in "And It's Still Alright" there's a sunny forest where the treetops let the sunshine in to the extend of the eye. The good thing about this journey is that there's companionship, a sympathetic and mature company that will give you your own space if needed or will give you a warm hug when you want it. This very Country Folk and Indie is a calm place that many people will appreciate in tense moments.    … Full Review »
