Jul 16, 2020Trap isn't really my thing, I mostly listen to lyrical rap, but this album surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Even the tracks I though were pretty "eh" all had some redeeming qualities. Don't get why I enjoyed this so much, but not Rodeo, I'll have to give it a relisten.
Favorite Tracks: STARGAZING, SICKO MODE, COFFEE BEAN -

Dec 23, 2022super good album, Yosemite sucks ass but this album is amazing, it's quite consistent, the second half does have a bit of a dip. Overall it's not better than Rodeo but still very good

Aug 9, 2018Travis creates a beautiful and dark image of the "astroworld" he grew up with, filled with melodic swings and well-crafted vocals Travis does an excellent job.

Sep 11, 2018Undoubtedly the most enjoyable album in Scott's discography. Countless enjoyable tracks and hours of replay value. An outstanding release that makes you wonder if the Houston rapper can top this effort in the future.
Favorite Tracks: Sicko mode, Wake Up, 5% Tint, No Bystanders, Houstonfornication, Coffee Bean

Feb 9, 2020Quality psych trap beats after quality psych trap beats, Travis's dream of a new astroworld theme park feels fully realized and teeming with life. Each song is a new trip down an ever winding hip hop rabbit hole of unbridled creativity.

Aug 13, 2018whole album just make me jump the f out, this is so lit, a masterpiece. we got an album of the year folks.
-
Aug 7, 2018With this highly anticipated album, Travis does not disappoint. With a new sound sonically, stacked features, and producers, Travis is able to curate one of the best albums of the year.
8.7/10 -
Aug 7, 2018Guided by stellar production and features that all bring their A-Game, Astroworld is the Houston rapper's most ambitions, and personal, album to date.
-
Aug 12, 2018From top to bottom this album demonstrates excellent, relaxing beats that are well paired with Travis Scott's voice. Though the lyrics do seem rather basic for a large part, they don't fail at what they are designed to do, that being giving you the feeling of relaxation.

Sep 10, 2018Definitely one of the contenders for AOTY in hip-hop for 2018, and will be well-remembered by fans. Very atmospheric, each song is a unique attraction.

Aug 12, 2018true definition of mediocre at its finest. no song up here stands out. hes really not saying anything on here. lots of adlibs and auto tune. beats are ok nothing here stands out. at the same time nothing here is bad either. this album is just ok nothing more nothing less
-
Aug 8, 2018Great production throughout the whole album. Just really boring lyrics and generic autotunes. Nothing new compared to Travis Scott's other projects. Not much replayability compared to other hip hop albums that released this year.

Aug 29, 2018I didn't like the album when it was released, but now, after the few listens, I can admit that album is one of the best longplays this year. It's not something you can expect from Travis, but it's nice that he's experimenting and evolving as an artist.

Aug 6, 2018great songs with great production, astroworld so far is the album of the year
-
Aug 7, 2018Probably one of the best albums of the year. Huncho Jack was a pile of rushed **** but Trav took nearly 2 or so years to perfect his sound with this album. Amazing use of features, brilliant production, fine mastering too i may add.

-
Oct 16, 2018The album's trap-psych spaciousness blends so that most of Astroworld plays out like a single long, spectacularly mixed track.
-
Aug 27, 2018The modulation and echo treatments on the vocals, combined with the frequently torpid tempos, nonetheless make Astroworld ideal for being pumped through an (18 and over) amusement park's sound system near closing time, when the challenge of hitting all the rides has started to turn into an overindulgent, overheated chore.
-
Aug 17, 2018His third studio album, Astroworld, feels like the grand opening of a vision that took a half-decade to perfect, still using the same psychedelic synth warps, diamond-cut drums, and reptilian hooks that initially skyrocketed him to stardom.
