This is the first time I give a complete opportunity to Post Malone, and I barely knew some songs from him; I was not sure what kind of music he actually makes. Now I realize he is kind of another pop artist that tries to be cool in the same music industry we already have a lot of. So, yes, inside all of this there is nothing more than a fleeting pop that most likely will disappears and be forgotten when another Post Malone appears and appeals to the younger generations of united states.
I didn't like the way he merges some genres in here, but he sings nice, and his lyrics are generic for obvious reasons. Nothing new, but friendly enough to be something enough for enough time for him to claim his 15 something of fame.

A little unfortunate that Post seems to be regressing since Hollywood's Bleeding, but there are still some amazing tracks here, some of which are his best in a while.

Although always listenable, Austin soon gets tired and whiny.

He goes straight for the pop-rock formulae. This would have worked better over a shorter span, but yawning as it does on the same mid-tempo pacing means that tracks blur to filler and some good lines get lost in the sludge. The lack of guest vocalists doesn’t help either.

Melodic and heartfelt, Austin surprises at nearly every turn, whether that's by an unexpected sonic detour or the simple fact that Post Malone has never sounded this fearless.
