Christ... There's a reason posthumous music is often looked down upon. This just feels like an unfinished work that was hastily put completed by an ungodly amount of producers for money. Let the man rest in peace, dammit.

Poorly written and arranged. It feels like an unfocused mix-tape only written to capitalize off of his death.

I can imagine that the majority of the content on this album was originally no more than ideas and short snippets. It is not hard to tell that this album was released to profit off of a dead person. There is no respect in this music whatsoever and it is honestly sad to see Empire Records getting away with this. The music itself has nothing to prove. It is stretched out and the features on this record are awful. The only song I loved was 'Triumph'. The first four tracks are also likable and the interlude is cool too. Beyond this, all is lost. Decent 3/10. Expand

Depression and Obsession doesn't mix well, such as the songs on this album. The enitre album feels like thrown together randomly, some songs sound quite nice but in my opinion this is just another example of how to make money with a young mans name after he passed away. The mixing is awful, i do not understand the features, like not at all, i mean why do you feature blink-182 on an XDepression and Obsession doesn't mix well, such as the songs on this album. The mixing is awful, i do not understand the features, like not at all, i mean why do you feature blink-182 on an X posthumous release? probably to draw attention, like "oh my gawd, haven't you heard of the official Tentacion blink 182 song yet?". This whole album has the vibe of those youtube "producers" mashing up random Lil Peep vocals over Nirvana Instrumentals. It doesn't even work as i mentioned, it's offering nothing but thrown together nonsense with lyrics and vocals of a once creative mind abused to make money. Expand

This is the type of stuff that won't let an artist rest in peace. XXXTentacion's music was undoubtedly bad when he was alive, but **** this is not just bad, this is the epitome of shameful

This album was 100% a money grab from X's Label/mom, these tracks felt lazy and it seems like the label just slapped a bunch of Features on this WHOLE album and EVERY SINGLE track and said "done" then called it a day this album makes X's reputation and legacy just make it sad and disappointing at the same time

This 25-song compilation renders itself as a gift to the die-hard X fans that are rightfully craving anything new from the late rapper – even if it’s simply lo-fi humming over baselines for a hot second.

It’s a good album. ... Emo rappers often tend to release short albums with even shorter tracks, and this one is suspiciously long and incredibly overloaded with talent.

The makeshift album drags, even with its stylistic diversions. Bad Vibes Forever is less a testament to how XXXTentacion helped shape the wave of rap during his brief career and more a bottom-of-the-barrel-scraping of partially cooked ideas he left behind.
