Jun 14, 2018Bay Dream is a great example of a band living up to the potential hinted at by their early work, and while day-one fans might be turned off by the album's cleaned-up production, it would be ungracious to begrudge a young band their newfound opportunities. Culture Abuse make the most of them here, with an album that should find its way into many a summer playlist.

Jun 14, 2018A fan of the old will easily become a fan of the new. It's all here: Kelling's needle-point observations, fuzzy tones, and a heavy flirtation with the Ramones and Beach Boys. No fans will be lost in this album cycle. As much as it's the same musically, it's also an entirely different creature lyrically.
