Sep 4, 20230 FILLERS. ALL THE TRACKS ARE BOPS. This album has not a deep concept like another Beyoncé next albuns, but the songs are the most wonderful ive ever heard. Its a more comercial sonority, and it still being really nice. In my vision, it's a dance album, and it does what is suposed to do: make you move your body while listening to all the songs. Such a MASTERPIECE!
-
Oct 5, 2022the album is cool, but I expect more from her since the album needs a long time to produce. Some of the songs are not memorable.
-
Aug 23, 2022Beyonce is a living legend of our time, undervalued for the great artist who is none like her
The greats masterpiece -
-
Aug 21, 2022She came on this b*tch mad as hell. Made in just two weeks, this is how an album from Beyoncé sounds if it was made out of just pure talent and musicality.

Aug 21, 2022A skipless album from Queen B. Can't believe she recorded this in 2 weeks. Greatness
-
Aug 2, 2022absolutely her best work. it has depth, but it's fun. it flows and feels complete as a body of work, but each song also has its own energy.

Dec 20, 2021Well, this experience was way better than her debut because of expectations and because you can hear Beyoncé's sound in this record. Although it's not a great album nor it has great songs, "B'Day" is where one of the greatest artist of all times finds herself - at least artistically.
-
May 8, 2021It's not bad but not really my type. I really like Irreplaceable and Listen tho.
-
Mar 19, 2021It's still a career high, but B'Day could have been released at any point in the last three-and-a-half years and, in a year which has given us tracks like Justin Timberlake's 'SexyBack', it already sounds stale.
-

Jul 20, 2019Bops everywhere. Ballads and dance songs with Jay Z bars. Some versions in spanish. It all fits perfectly
-
Jun 22, 2018Beyoncé really revamped herself once again with this release, amazing album, not a skippable song in sight!
-
Jun 21, 2018Underrated album! Definitely one of Beyoncé's best albums! Still a relevant album even though it was released 12 years ago.

Jun 17, 2017Beyoncé did a great job here i love this album. People forget about this album... But it is totally original.. I love the away that Beyoncé make pop music sound so classy and it is not to young girl it is for every age.

Sep 11, 2016that album is soo amazing and strong, have many hits like dja vu that makes beyoncé a star and show her talent do be a pop star i really love this album
-
Aug 30, 2016Amazing! The best Beyoncé album ever! Is everything and has everything i always wanted Beyoncé to do. She presents a perfect masterpiece and not everyone these days can do it like she can. Collapse
-
Aug 30, 2016UnderRated just like all Her Albums. No Fillers, Lesser thans but no fillers. Its packed with some really great songs all throughout. Great Album. 5 stars. Collapse
-
Jul 15, 2016I am not the biggest Beyonce fan, and I don't really like her music, but songs like "Irreplaceable" and "Beautiful Liars" are songs that I appreciate.
-
May 29, 2016ith so many uptempo tracks it may be seen tiring to hear all the tracks, but she show some more of her talents looking at them individually, like the smooth funky ballad Kitty Kat, or the shouty one Green Light. Its not an album to hear easyfully, but its not bad.
-
Nov 11, 2015a clear copy of which she had already been doing since his time of the group with their backs, dancing scolding wig and fan, nothing innovative to deserve a green note, all I see is too bright and little content.
-
Jun 15, 2015Foxes é maravilhosa. Eu amo tudo o que ela faz, tudo bem feito, impecável. Coisa de artista de verdade, é uma pena ver que não tem o reconhecimento merecido.
-
May 4, 2015ore. You can tell all of her songs came from the heart. The only thing that I have to say is that I don't think "Run The World (Girls)" fits into the album AT ALL. Other than that, the album is flawle
-
Feb 4, 2015I think: B'Day is the more-creative album of Beyoncé. This girl is an stupid amazing singer, i love her! But I Am... Sasha Fierce is better. The dancing from B'Day, the songs, the letter. B'Day is perfect. Get Me Bodied and Upgrade U are the best songs of the album.
-
Dec 15, 2013Incorporating elements of Candomblé in his music, Beyoncé makes another major disaster, poorly produced songs and lackluster lyrics, B'Day souounds like an album that Janet Jackson could do when were with diarrhea.
-
Nov 17, 2013"Ring the Alarm" is one of the most interesting song I have ever listened to, but this album just doesn't work out really well for me. It's somewhat imbalanced with the first half being so appealing but the later half being so typical (except for "Irreplaceable").
-
Aug 15, 2013Beyonce's second best album, even though "B'Day" is only six stars. All of the songs are pretty good, but they just come and go in streaks of liking and disliking them.
-
Jan 6, 2013Better than her debut album thanks to less slower songs and more booty-shaking songs which is what Beyoncé is best for! It's not flawless but there is plenty here to enjoy and it's a great album, especially with one of her biggest hits on the album, Irreplaceable!
-
Nov 29, 2012Freakum Dress is one of the best song performed live I've ever heard ♥ Upgrade You & Ring The Alarm are very good songs. I love the fact that it's full of uptempos
-
Aug 3, 2012"B'Day" is just a timeless classic album filled with some of Beyoncé's best uptempos (Déjà Vu, Upgrade U, Freakum Dress, Get Me Bodied) and her best midtempos and ballads (Irreplaceable, Resentment, Flaws and All).
-
Jul 15, 2012
-
Mar 23, 2012Not good album.
-
Jul 29, 2011How do one follow up a masterpiece like 'Dangerously In Love'? Beyonce has proven that she evolves with every album... On B'Day her voice is more powerful, commanding and she has never sounded better. Truly a piece of art. Favorite tracks: Irreplaceable, Deja Vu, Upgrade U, Flaws & All, Ring The Alarm.
-
Jun 29, 2011My favourite Beyonce album, omg this is so perfect. I don't even have afavourite track 'cause they're all so perfect. She is my favourite artist!!!!!!
-
Jun 27, 2011Well, it may be her best album yet, but it's certainly her weirdest. I like the beats, her voice is great, but the lyrics are just ridiculous. I was hoping for something better than ''let's go, little kitty kat'', but overall is a great album and it deserves a listen.
-
Nov 29, 2010UnderRated just like all Her Albums. No Fillers. Yes it has flaws but most of the time people are just nick picking and judging all the wrong things. Not Fair. Great Album.
-
LucieF.Nov 23, 2008B'day is an uptempo album and is definitely all about women.very different from dangerously in love but still got great uptempo songs. i like the 70ish sound on suga mama. very powerful vocals.

-
calRAug 2, 2007this album is really good, the best songs are "Deja Vu", "Get me bodied", "Welcome to Hollywood" & "Iraplaceable" I only own the deluxe edition of it with a couple more songs on, there are a few to be avoided like "World Wide Woman","Resentment" & "Kitty Kat". Overall all the others are OK so an alright album.

-
fredricEJun 7, 2007It didn't grow on me till some months later,, i enjoy this CD, somehow even she receives mixed to negative reviews, she is still the queen of the game, right? its 3x platinum already.. great songs like deja vu, irreplaceable, listen, upgrade u, get me bodied, beautiful liar, freakum dress are all here..
-
-
hannahMay 31, 2007i thnk that beyonce can do wat ever she likes and still belive in god... she is her own person and people shouldnt judge that.. she is a great singer and dancer and if she loves wat shes doin then thats fine.. U GO GURL.

JaimeMMay 16, 2007I give this album a 6/10. It has a few catchy songs, but theres a few songs that are horrible.
-
-
BenKMay 11, 2007Awful. I gave a point for every good song on the album - Deja Vu, Ring The Alarm, Irreplaceable, Listen and Upgrade U - and then took away a point for the dismal single Beautiful Liar and the fact that Listen is only a bonus track. It is soooo dull and uninspired - even worse than her solo effort which is awful.
-
-
MichelleKApr 13, 2007Not a great album to be honest. There are glimpses of the Beyonce I know and love (Upgrade U, Ring The Alarm, Irreplaceable) but otherwise not the greatest.

-
ncDec 6, 2006this album was amazing. critics are right in giving it the 4-5 stars it deserves. Its clear that beyonce is reinventing herself. Some people just dont like change, but in this case its almost too good to be true, and beyonce really delivers. Buy this album.

-
ArtMDec 4, 2006Must have been working too hard on Dreamgirls to pay attention to this. Also, it is the shortest release I've seen in a while. Liitle quantity and quality. Come on B, you're so much better than this. Listen to some divas and put your talent to use

mattaOct 24, 2006Beyonce shows some range and diversity found in few if any of the other artists of her generation and genre. Bday is her best offering and it is easy to like. Don't just hate it because it's from a former member of Destiny's Child; Beyonce has branched out since her girl-band days and she sounds really good.
-
-

-
-
RyanVOct 15, 2006This album is amazing on several different levels yet doesn't deliver on over all continuity. through outl I was left with one wish; I wanted to see more songs like Irreplaceable which is haunting and beautiful.
-
-
TashCOct 13, 2006This is a brilliant album . Don't listen to the haters. Despite the fact the album lacks the slow songs that show off the power of her voice, The album shows a cool, sexy, confident side to Beyonce. And no matter what the haters say, no one can deny that this chick can still beat the hell out of the competition!!!!
-
-
TNGOct 11, 2006To all of the Haters, B-Day is the truth, Although I was a little thrown when I first purchased the album because I wasn't listening, but after a few minutes, I new that B-day was all B!!!! I love "Upgrade You" and "Irrepalceable". The album is ingenius and all it takes is an open mind and an open ear to hear that Beyonce is ahead of her class.
-
-
PRockOct 11, 2006Agree with Terry O: She has a great voice, but the lyrics suck. And why is she always writing about Sex? Right now her intellect or lack-of-intellect is hurting her.

Awards & Rankings
-
Whereas Beyoncé's debut was accomplished in its diversity, albeit a sure sign of a new solo artist trying to find her voice, B'Day sounds like the album "Crazy In Love" initially forecasted.
-
BlenderB'Day never cools down, and swaety up-tempo numbers prove the best platform for Beyonce's rapperly phrasing and pipe-flaunting fireballs. [Sep 2006, p.138]
-
Apart from a few pop-R&B space-fillers, there's not much to dislike about B'Day.
