I had never been one for "sadcore", especially after my first experience with Lana Del Rey's tiresome and dreary voice, but Alexandra's well-measured, soothing and addictive vocals is now a must-listen for me everyday, and I'm not just talking about my obsession for "Mirage" - the habit has developed into a complete devoir to Belladonna of Sadness, which, just like brand-new "TranquilityI had never been one for "sadcore", especially after my first experience with Lana Del Rey's tiresome and dreary voice, but Alexandra's well-measured, soothing and addictive vocals is now a must-listen for me everyday, and I'm not just talking about my obsession for "Mirage" - the habit has developed into a complete devoir to Belladonna of Sadness, which, just like brand-new "Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino", is another album that gets better the more you listen. Ms. Savior's ability is crystal, after the variety she demonstrates by Mirage, Vanishing Point, M. T. M. E. and Audeline. Expand

An impressive debut from a very promising songwriter, hopefully with more to come.

Her voice and affectations are so guided by the heavy hands of Turner and Ford that Belladonna of Sadness is largely indistinguishable from their work: At best, Savior is a muse for her own introduction; at worst, she’s a conduit who’s yet to prove that she can hold her own with the company she keeps.

Her boiled up fury and velvety voice pair together to make something special, resulting in the album that Del Rey would kill to make.
