Although the refrences are obvious, beach boys, velevt underground, john lennon Stoltz has put together an incredible album filled with sunshine humour and killer melodies. I love the guitar playing on this album, especially on my favourite track 'words' another key track is 'summer's easy feeling' which has the best melody of the album. I would recommend this to Although the refrences are obvious, beach boys, velevt underground, john lennon Stoltz has put together an incredible album filled with sunshine humour and killer melodies. I saw Stoltz live opening for the Raconteurs last July. I have been listening to this album ever since.

  1. There's nothing really new or earth-shattering about this album, but that's not a prerequisite for great rock & roll.

    Retro lo-fi pop-rock, dressed in pounded parlor-room piano chords and psych-folk filigree. [10 Feb 2006, p.134]

It sounds like he had a lot of fun making this record. [9 Feb 2006, p.62]
