Their needling attack punctures fevered egos on There's No One Like You, and cooks up some pleasingly wonky acid-rock, but best of the bunch is the closing flourish When Do I Get To Sing "My Way." [Sep 2019, p.88]

I love Redd Kross but boy, this album is a major disappointment. The best track is a cover of Sparks 'When Do I Get to Sing 'My Way'', and that's not exactly great. The rest, sad to say, is just utterly forgettable. Their worst album by far. Full Review »

They sound more like a fresh, young, talented group just out of the gate, rather than a band that has been continuously cranking out potent albums for 3 ½ decades. Members have played with The Melvins, Tater Totz, Dumb Numbers, Off!, Altamont, Celebrity Skin, Shrinebuilder, more. Includes a cover of “When Do I Get To Sing ‘My Way’” by Sparks. RIYL: Cheap Trick, Sloan, Teenage Fanclub, The Rezillos. While there aren’t any real stand-out tracks here, “Beyond The Door” checks in as a solid batch of power pop rock songs to propel through the summer. Recommended for fun. Full Review »
