    Camila really is trying to put herself into this, and I think it bodes well for what we're going to get in the future. I see mixed reviews of some people wanting less ballads, but at the same time they want her to be different. Her having more ballads is where she IS different, this is where she is really telling us something, on those songs. And I think if people really listen to the lyrics, instead of just a cursory listen, you'll find that Camila could have very bright future indeed, she is turning into a good writer.

    My biggest complaint is that at times I feel like there is too much auto-tuning. Camila's voice does not need this, at all, she is capable of producing that sound without help. I also would rather we'd gotten something other than a radio edit of Never Be The Same, perhaps the no rap version of Havana? I do understand the change in direction and some songs not being ready, as to why we don't have the song she did with Ed or Charlie XCX writing with her, and I look forward to what we get in the future.

    The zero ratings are coming from mainly two places: people not voting right given what they wrote (positive notes, but bad score), and pressed fans from her former girl group. To give a zero to the album, as if it has absolutely nothing on it worth anyone's time, is petty and disingenuous, and just not true (most of them were bopping to Havana even if they don't want to admit it.)

    Admittedly, this isn't for everyone, I wasn't even OPEN to pop music in general until I started listening to 5H and found something about them that spoke to me, in large part because of Camila's voice being so unique, and because they seemed to project this very positive girl empowerment theme. But I listen closer to what Camila is saying, not just the overall sound, and I'm finding music I can identify with, music I wish I'd had years ago.    … Expand

    CAMILA is one of the best album I've heard in such a long time. From balades to dancing songs, this is truly an album that can make you travel through a variety of differents emotions.

    A passionate, mature and relatable album. Camila shows us that she's not only a singer but also a songwriter. The songs are great and her voice is what shines the most. She is a star. I love it.

    A lyrical masterpiece. You can tell that she put her everything in her when writing these lyrics. Her vocals throughout each song were incredible, unique and oh so beautiful. The production behind...I have no words. Worth listening to over and over and over again.

    ¨CAMILA¨ exceeded all my expectations, without a doubt it is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time, her voice is beautiful, the lyrics and the rhythms of the songs are perfect, I can not stop playing it. It is not the typical pop album, she is not the typical teen idol and it shows in her talent and in her hard work. I just loved the album.

    Camila is a wonderful artist and her debut album is delicious and wonderful. She brought her latin influences, mainly in her smash hit Havana and She Loves Control (which deserved to be a single). This album is incredible and unforgettable.

    An absolutely amazing album. A good representation of who Camila is as a lyricist and as an artist. Typically I do not enjoy every song on an album, and there are tracks that I will skip, however this album is the exception. I really enjoy every track and think it is a very cohesive album. There are upbeat songs, and there are also slower songs that are quite emotional. It is a very goodAn absolutely amazing album. A good representation of who Camila is as a lyricist and as an artist.     a really good debut album, the ballads are my favorite, the lyrics are so deep and I'm impresed the camila has credit in every song, it's sooo much better when you like a certain song and then find out the artist write too, tha no happen in some of the main pop girls. amazing album.

    Those vocals, LYRICS and sounds are amazing. The fact that she co-wrote all the songs has me amazed. It has been on loop since it came out, its so much better than I expected and I expected A LOT. Probably my favorite album ever!

    One of the best album's i have heard in a long time. You can hear her pain in consequences and something's gotta give, the powerful in those two songs is unbelievable, Camila you make me cry and that is not easy, you have my whole heart and money since 2012.     Camila is an excellent album which represents Cabello's latin origins very preciously, besides the fact that her voice is memorable and unforgettable. She has definitely shown the best of her potential when she left Fifth Harmony.

    Camila's album is such a fresh record like u can distincly hear that there is a difference in every song. It's pretty clear that some tracks have gotten influenced by others' artists but each one of them still remains having a strong uniqueness & it's really captivating.

    "Camila" is definitely one of the best debuts since a long time. As you go to every single one of the 10 songs you can feel that Camila Cabello have put her soul into this album. It's emotional, powerful and phenomenal in every way it's possible.

    I'm looking forward to see more of what Cabello has for us, this is pretty much the born of an icon.

    'CAMILA' is certainly one of the best albums of recent years. The vocals, the lyrics, the beats. You can go from "Never Be The Same" to "Something's Gotta Give" and end up listening to Reggaeton "Inside Out". Not to mention that everyone has that song that is super identifiable.

    Camila Cabello killed it! The album is so perfect, the way she exposes her feelings are amazing. I'm very proud of her. Just exceeded my expectations, without doubt, best debut album I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.

    OMG this album is amazing, a great album, in a moment of pop, when the female artist are making country/pop, Camila Cabello is releasing a album diferent, is a diary, with latin sounds, emotional ballads, & for me is better thant the FH discography, GREAT DEBUT.

    Fantastic! There's not a bad song on this album. Each song is very different from the other, with a good balance between more upbeat and smooth music.

    An amazing album (not just for a debut, but for albums in general) with consistency, a perfect flow for the music sequence and very intimate and touchy lyrics that makes you feel everything she wants us to feel. And obviously, Camila's perfect vocals in each song is a pleasure to hear.

    “Never Be the Same” proves that Cabello doesn’t need a mammoth voice. The love-is-a-drug lyric she’s singing is dumb, but she sells it so joyfully that you don’t even notice, and its wonderfully breathy, high-register hook ensures “Havana” won’t be her last solo hit.
