NickNov 17, 2005One of the most incredible albums of these modern times. Dismemberment Plan is definately one of the best Indie bands ever and this is their best albumn. Super innovative and incredibly deep for the pop structure. There is nothing like it really. I guess you could say that I like it a lot.

BenjaminBunnyJun 8, 2004Why not go out with a bang? Personally, I prefer this album's sleek prduction and cognitive grooves over "Emergency & I"'s scattershot song structures. A once-whiny band grows up and some of the poetry herein is lovely. Call this emo if you dare.

This is pop music pushing the boundaries of what pop music should be, without having to resort to overproduced and mass-marketed gloss.
-
For anyone who loved Emergency and I, or any of the Dismemberment Plan's other two records, Change sounds like The Dismemberment Plan on Quaaludes.
-
Change, while unquestionably more mature than anything the Dismemberment Plan have released in the past, is also, at times, an incredibly powerful record that can make mundane ruminations seem like Socratic philosophy.
