Very-very bad album, a weak vyzov, primitive instrumental. So, Charli? Your time up?

I was expecting something big from Charlie, like pop 2, but I get with this raw set of demos.

The pop visionary falls flat with the Charli LP. Loosely concepted around the cyborg femmebot archetype from Pop 2, the album invites a host of collaborators to recreate the magic from that mixtape. Album lowlight: Lizzo sell-out collaboration "Blame It On Your Love" that was much better as "Track 10"

OK, I tried to listen to it 7 times, 7 **** times, but I don't get it, Pop 2 was still good

The same as your previous albums. Autotune and autotune. Nothing new, let's innovate, Charli.

Highly weak album of, I expected more, after chic Pop 2. I don't know why she let it out.

So ugly, so boring, so trash the EP is futuristic and kinda synth sounding and some of the tracks did good for me but most of it felt like the production is kind of awkward and

Very heavy album, impossible to listen to, wild electro-thrash. I'm disappointed, Charli

This album may be one of the worst albums of all time if i’m gonna be completely honest. There’s nothing holding the album together and the random sounds through out the music is weird.

    Worst album of the decade
Charli is doing what she's best at, constantly lowering the bars for pop music .

Charli has outlived its usefulness, as an artist, the album is weak, not the level of previous works.

After listening to the album in full, I can say that it is the most raw, unfinished, sometimes monotonous. In General, disappointed.

I feel that PC music, like any music can have a great direction and composition that is understandable. Even the songs that have turns we don’t expect but manage to work are forgiven, but when it comes to this album, or to Charli, it seems she just grabs everything that’s different and puts it in a blender with hope that it’ll be digested well. It'd be helpful if a single song stood out from the pack. The excitement and originality of her past work have vanished into a monotonous mess for the past 3-4 years. I understand stans will stan but the truth is the truth.

It's a totally weird pop, it sounds sounding soundy bad. Big flaws in these great mixtapes, and I can't even listen to track 5 without wanting to skip a song. This album wants to exist on a dance floor or at a party at home, but opts for a tacky synthesizer world.

It’s a party album, which means it’s utopian. It’s a solo album, which means it’s rebooting. “Next Level Charli” doesn’t sound like a version we’ve never heard before; it sounds like the very same, not even accelerated but integrated, at 100% synchronization rate.

It often feels as if Aitchison's nasal croon and counter-intuitive toplines are the least interesting bits of her own project. [Nov 2019, p.116]

The good news is that her songwriting is stronger than ever. Along with co-executive producer A.G. Cook, Charli XCX has put together a delightful album of high-end pop confections. Charli packs in plenty of wow and proves to be more than worth the wait.
