On tracks like Gimme Some Annihilation, Cockroach, and I Like it in the Dark, it shows a punk/ no wave influence. Tracks like She Splits Me Up and Marquis de Sade oddly enough show doo wop tracings. Crocodiles are a band with a breathe of fresh air and this album proves my statement. Full Review »

Crimes of Passion is a strong record the whole way through with the second half of the album in particular standing out.

Where previously the band seemed to have taken a feckless approach to recording their albums there is a certain confidence and swagger on display here and it works very well. Me and My Machine Gun is a standout track for me.

It's disappointing to see that one bad critic review has skewed the metascore on here and it's
opened my eyes a bit as to how inaccurate metacritic can be as a guide sometimes.
