It’s the first Eisley album that fails to improve on its predecessor, recapitulating earlier ideas while seemingly in retreat.

In comparison to "The Valley", "Currents" has managed to assert something new to the listeners. It sounds and tastes different, and that is a good thing. With its Sucré's (Stacy DuPree-King's side project) influences, Eisley can do better with its harmony and weirdly beautiful music. All in all, "Currents" is my cup of tea. Full Review »
