There's such raw, honest beauty in these songs. Beauty and creativity and intelligence that's hard to come by. Cooley doesn't have a bad song, and Patterson's are top notch. For friends who don't know who they are, I loan them this and BTCD. I couldn't imagine what the album would be if Patterson had totally lost these songs for good. It's a band being so comfortable with who they are. The only reason this can't be a 10, is just because of "Your Daddy Hates Me". That's the very minor bump in the road. Otherwise, a perfect listen.
