  1. A handful of tunes on this one-named wonder's debut are as cool as anything you'll hear this summer.

Sure, it's commercial, but Rosey's expert melding of dance beats and hippie dippiness adds up to a debut slick with beatnik cool. [#8, p.122]

It's an impressive debut, and one that justifies the hype she's gotten.
  4. Some of the livelier tunes don't suit her as well, and neither does overproduction. Luckily, Rosey's vocals shine through where it counts.
  5. A vibrant new artist bursting with individuality.
