Mar 4, 2017Ed Sheeran did an album for the fans, not the critics, and seeing in the point the view of a fan, the album is very successful. Divide will be at the top of the charts in the next 2 years and Ed may change his direction at the next
record, but this one is really good. -
Mar 4, 2017This is his best album thus far. Lots of great songs. People giving it bad notes don't recognize Ed's amazing talent. I hope it wins lots and lots of Grammys.
-
Mar 3, 2017Good album, with different vibes and tunes. The Irish, Hispanic and African vibes mixed with rap, folk, pop-rock, dancehalll/tropical house and pop are amazing. Well done, Ed.
-
-
Mar 5, 2017the album is great and is in my opinion the best album of the year. the lyrics in the songs are beautiful. the production is really good and it includes different vibes and tunes we never heard from Ed before.
-
Mar 13, 2017This website is a joke. Bunch of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc gay ass fans giving low notes thinking their faves make good music and because hate him, Gaga fans cause they think he shaded her but he didn't.
So they dislike comments which aren't what they wanna hear. SMH!
The truth isn't always what you want btw. -
Mar 14, 2017Ed's new album is incredible! Although the tracks deluxes are medium, the other songs show the power of sheeran with the words, whereas the singles until then are hymns to the ears!
-
Mar 19, 2017I like all songs in this album. Ed's voice is perfect and lyrics is good too. I understand that someone won't like it. I like all of his albums. Maybe it is generic, but I still like it because these lyrics are about life and that's important for me. He created them with love.
-
Apr 11, 2017I love this album! Shape of you is an amazing hit and I can't help myself from listening to it a lot of times! the deluxe tracks are even better! Barcelona should be promoted as a summer hit
-
Apr 23, 2017Excellent album with great songs and a good repertoire. The versatility of the singer and the good melodies. A conceptual album and that the charts reflect how good it is
-
Jun 16, 2017I just like divide as much as i love plus mutiply, it baffed me that many fans believe that divide can not compete mutiply , i think it's just as good or even better, also as you kan see so many user give '0' with no reason , haters gonna hate ,that's all i can say.
-
Aug 8, 2017This years best album so far, that's for sure. Don't get these hateful comments on album, but whatever. "Shape Of You", "Perfect", "Galway Girl", "Castle On The Hill", "Eraser", "Dive" and "Happier" are golden songs.
-
Jan 6, 2018An excellent album, and every song is fantastic. It deserves a better score.
-
Jan 13, 2018The best and most successful album of 2017! The album is full of amazing songs and I really love Galway Girl, Nancy Molligan and Dive.
-
Feb 2, 2018extremely awesome and critically-underrated album. deserves more. all the songs are great and the lyrics are very relatable and good. awesome! ed u did it again! gd job!

Nov 1, 2021Melhor álbum dele, as influências de Folk trouxeram algo diferente para o pop de 2017. Sem dúvidas um dos álbuns da década.
-
Oct 11, 2019El mejor trabajo de Ed hasta ahora, buenas letras, ritmos variados e himnos como Shape of you y Perfect

Aug 28, 2020Definitely the best album of Ed Sheeran. I love how it has an upbeat, ballad, and dreamy songs all in one yet the album remains cohesive and likable.
-
Aug 31, 2020Another great album by Ed Sheeran and deserved to win a Grammy for best pop album. Plenty of catchy tunes, along with the usual deep cuts
-
Aug 30, 2020Dude, this album is one of my favourites! Ed Sheeran doesn't have one bad song.
-
Aug 30, 2020A very nice album to start with if you want to get into Ed. Lovable nice guy, and some certain pop fans are mad this won more awards then female artists. Criticism≠having taste. Give it a nice try. One of the best albums of 2017.

Apr 7, 2021Great album, with irish and british mixed songs, a lot of hits, songs with personal lyrics, it shouldn't be so massacred by the critic
-
Aug 13, 2021Just two words: Absolutely perfect! It's a complete album with amazing songs. Supermarket Flowers, Perfect, Shape of You, Barcelona, Galway Girl, Save Myself, Nancy Mulligan and Happier are a must!
-
Oct 3, 2021Good album with position vibes, heartbreak tubes and loving up making it sound like a shuffle playlist but at the end it makes you good tune
-
Apr 3, 2022Damn beautiful album....... Awesome songs like hearts don't break around here, eraser, what do I know..... Possibly the best Ed Sheeran album
-
Oct 10, 2022amazing album! the initial singles were followed up by some great tracks in the album too...
-
Jun 8, 2023A new world from Ed Sheeran. The songs music and lyrics are perfectly synchronise with the mood .
-
Mar 4, 2017Divide is such an inspiring album. Perfect is a really potential ballad and songs like Shape of you make the album catchy. There were a couple of boring tracks that's why I gave the album a 9 but generally it was great.
-
Mar 4, 2017Good album. Beautiful lyrics, excellent production, the only bad track of this album is Shape Of You. Ed is proving that he is one of the best mainstream songwriters in the game right now.

Oct 3, 2018May not be the most original artist, but Ed Sheeran is one friendly, talented chap. And the songs here just JAM.

Mar 19, 2017This album in my opinion is his best yet. The songs individually are very strong on here which in no wonder why all of them hit the top 20 here in the UK. Highlights of this album are Eraser,Castle on the hill,Dive,Shape of you and Galway girl. Happier however does sound like a Sam Smith reject.
-
Feb 26, 2018Não sei pq o Ed Sheeran recebe tanto hate desnecessário, ele possui ótimas músicas nesse álbum como Supermarket Flowers, Dive e Perfect.
-
Jun 23, 2017From a fresh listener's standpoint, this album sounds more refined than his previous few albums. Loved "Castle on the Hill" and "Perfect" a lot. I am also glad that there are some karaoke-esque songs in there, which aren't overly rappy
Yet, he needs to diversify and go beyond his comfort zone, maybe change his style a little. I guess. -
Jan 19, 2019
-
Jan 22, 2018Smart album, presumptuos lyrics, beautiful sound, but still falls short compared to Ed's previous efforts. Formulaic and comfortable.
'Castle on the hill', 'Galway Girl' and 'Supermarket flowers' save most of the album. -

Mar 24, 2017This album is ok. There's only 4 or 5 truly great songs, the rest really are alright or they are just bad. Not a bad album but for sure not Grammy Worthy.
-
Mar 15, 2017Why does this have such negative reviews!?!? I mean yes, Divide is a monotonous album, but still it's Ed's style, what were you expecting? I still like his lyrics and voice.
-
Nov 27, 2017Album Of The Year... Melhor e mais completo álbum do Ed Sheeran!Sheeran voltou cheio de ambição e ÷ (Divide) é o resultado de alguém que se esforçou para impressionar.
-
Mar 6, 2017A Good record. Nothing overly special but enough to enjoy. Sheeran can sing well. Decent production. Not much to say but it is overall satisfying enough.
-
Apr 4, 2018It's a good pop album but it's nothing to write home about. It has some great songs that were ruined by radio play.
-
May 29, 2020While still the same of Ed Sheeran, Divide is packed with pop gems like "Shape of You" and "Galway Girl" and is likely to boost Sheeran even farther into mainstream superiority.
It seems Adele and The Weeknd have influenced Sheeran by keeping their latest releases the same style. -
Mar 5, 2017Rated it 7 out of 10. It has some of the best songs Ed has made on his whole career at the moment and his diversity is shown here. He entered the Irish influence in the mainstream industry and exposed it. Took some risks and it did surprisingly well. The album is great but x still stands out.
Loving it though! :) Hear it now! -

Feb 7, 2018Every song in his album is very beautiful but so basic and traditional. Perfect, Shape of you is the soul of the album.
-
May 30, 2018Loved some of the tracks like "DIve", "Supermarket Flowers" and "Save Myself" but there are some songs that are kind of bleh like "Barcelona" for example.
-
Dec 12, 2020Bien que cet album soit surfait, mais pas assez pour que les gens autour de lui disent que c'est une poubelle, il a toujours ses propres bons points, et bien sûr, beaucoup mieux que la carrière de Justin Beiber.
-
Apr 8, 2022Divide is not that fantastic but I must admit that it does have good iconic songs but as an album it leaves a little to be done
-
Apr 1, 2017Middling with a few great exceptions, Ed Sheeran's downbeat 'Divide' is a collection of generic ballads with each song having one nuance to stand out. The best songs are when he experiments with different genres, or delves deep into the lyrics. Unfortunately, most of his songs are simply bland love songs.
-
Nov 28, 2017Some great songs on here, but the more I listen to it the more I realise that it was just a quick money ploy. The great songs triumph and the bad ones fall in comparison. It's a massive shame considering the quality of his previous album 'X'. However, this is still a good album with mainly the first 4 singles as well as Erazer, Dive and New Man.

-
Jul 28, 2019An album that has aged very poorly in my opinion. It's flawed, overplayed and obnoxiously trite, but I will give it a 6 due to the handful of good tracks and the eclectic path Sheeran chose to attempt here. Still one of the better pop records.
-
Aug 31, 2017This album is not impressive like others. It's full of common lyrics and mainstream pop songs. Without personality, this album is so distant from the past two. Some tracks reminds to soul music, others to Irish music, others to alternative rock. But it's a generic pop album with some good songs (Happier, Castle On The Hill and Dive).
-
Feb 7, 2020Very overhated IMO. Not as great as his first two (and I hate Shape of You), but some tracks such as DIve and New Man are great
-
Nov 3, 2021I would say that it is an average album that does not surprise much, there are several songs that save it as "Perfect" and "Shape of you" & Nancy Mulligan ". But" Bibia Be Ye Ye "is the most irritating song of the abum...

-
Mar 4, 2017The album is kinda disappointing, has some bops like New Man and Perfect but is totally forgettable; that Barcelona song is awful, looks like at some point the worst Shakira and Piqué are going to show up and Catalonia becomes Panama. Benny Blanco did an amazing album producing though.
-
May 14, 2017This is the epitome of modern musical plainness, with nothing but short market-approved tunes that overshadow any attempt from Sheeran to show ambition and leave behind a bitter taste to listeners who truly care about music. My Score: 94/180 (Deficient) = 5.2/10
-
Mar 3, 2017This record starts off strong with two songs about interesting and deep topics, then takes an immediate nosedive into the world of generic and rehashed love ballads, none of which are very interesting until Sheeran touches on the loss of his grandmother in the album's closing track.
-
May 12, 2017I hate to say it because I am a huge Ed fan, but this album disappointed me. It sounds like he just put the most successful sounds from his last album and put them in a blender for this one. By far the most generic of his work, nothing new or exciting. Very pleasant music, but nothing special.
-
Jun 24, 2017unfortunately, Ed Sheeran disappointed everyone with a generic and bland Cd, It was way too boring and there was no essence of him, I can ensure you that this album have been released by anyone. I still like him, anyway.
-
Sep 19, 2022a voz dele é gostosinha de escutar porém com o passar do tempo fica enjoativo, já gostei muito desse álbum um tempo atrás, hoje em dia não consigo mais escutar.

Nov 14, 2017Such a horrible album. But I'm not surprised at all, his previous work is bad as well, only generic songs. I would call this pop trash, because that's what it is.
-
Mar 12, 2017Extremely generic and bland. The basic pop music needed to rule the charts without actually having any impact. The soundings of a sad work with blazing numbers!

Dec 21, 2018The album followed the basic and generic Ed Sheeran, we have no developments or anything new that can surprise us or even improve this new album vision. I do not say it was a tragedy, but it would be like listening to the previous albums. A little bit and very disappointing.
-
Jun 27, 2018Had to listen to this album a few times over to realise that it was a step backwards for Ed. A shame tbh but we still have + and Multiply.
-
Jun 24, 2018Unoriginal, uninspiring, nothing special and definitely overrated. There are a few good moments but this is getting too much buzz and success without a valid reason. Didn't deserve the Grammy award too but i guess Grammys recognise the commercial performance rather than the quality.
-
Nov 19, 2021I've always admired Ed's talent for composing, but this album seems composed for a mediocre band or wedding singer. He's good but too overrated.
-
Aug 20, 2018This cheap pop-folk album did not deserve grammy Rainbow was so much better and Shape of You was the worst song of 2017 along with D-E-S-P-A-S-H-I-T-O
-
Mar 20, 2017
-
Mar 4, 2017Too Generic. Except ''Shape of You'' whole album kind of sounds the same. Lacks vastness. Stands no where near ''STARBOY'' by The Weeknd or ''Sweet.Sexy.Savage.'' by Kehlani.

Awards & Rankings
-
Mar 16, 2017At best, we have a middling collection of songs that are going to sound great in a packed arena. At worst, it’s a pretty significant step back from X, and once the initial novelty of its release wears off, it’s unlikely to enjoy the popular acclaim or the longevity of its predecessor.
-
Q MagazineMar 14, 2017Listening to this third LP, you wonder if some of the good ones slipped through the cracks. [May 2017, p.102]
-
Mar 10, 2017As calculating as Sheeran can seem here, he understands there’s a fine line between universal and generic, which is why he gives his songs the idiosyncratic touches they need to stand out.
