LiquidToddDec 9, 2006A pretty impressive debut from Jacksonville, Florida. How it ended up on German electronic label Morr Music is a mystery to me but I'm glad someone found these guys and put their music out. There are several solid tracks on this album.

MikeNFeb 17, 2006Album was REALLY recorded in a Backyard Shed with no A.C. and the artists aren't rich spoiled brats with too much studio time (Or whatever else has been said about them), but broke-ass mo-fo's like me.

CharlesAnonymousApr 27, 2006This Album is a gentle cross between postal service and modest mouse. Two thumbs way up! For the past week it's acted like a remedy to all stress. Just can't stop listening to it. Good job...

AristonFeb 21, 2006May grow on me to be my favorite album of the year, maybe ever!

Generally good but occasionally uneven.
-
Arriving somewhere between the newer work of Styrofoam (on Morr) and The Postal Service, Electric President mainly dabbles in melancholy-tinged tracks with a couple bursts distributed through the album for good measure.

Alternative PressIt's anything but a lo-fi vanity project. [Mar 2006, p.138]
