This is not the best Clem Snide album, but it is good overall and if you like any of their older stuff, you'll like this. Their recordings, even the best ones, are never as good as their live shows. Definitely go see them live, they're almost always perfect - and then while you're buy a copy of this disc there.

I like this, but it's not their best. Soft Spot is one of my favorite albums, and The Ghost of Fashion is really good, so check those out before you make your way to this one.

More funny, quirky, slightly alt-country pop tunes from Clem Snide, which isn't a bad thing. While it tends to run together over the course of the whole record, there are some great standout tracks ("Made for TV Movie" and "Jews for Jesus Blues") and some clever, laugh-out-loud funny lyrics. Nothing on it quite as catchy as "Moment in the Sun" (from The Ghost of Fashion) but a solid More funny, quirky, slightly alt-country pop tunes from Clem Snide, which isn't a bad thing. 'Made for TV Movie' is a very cool song as well as 'Fill Me With Your Light.' Overallt he album is solid and though Clem's rhythm never amazes you, the lyrics are always a good time. I'd also like to say hello to the guy/girl who has to read all these comments. Must be fantastic.

"(You Make Me Wanna Break) Something Beautiful" is definitely going on my manic depressive mix iPod playlist. The whole album is pretty humorous and melodic.

The production and arrangements on End Of Love are more varied and exciting than on Snide's previous efforts. [#8, p.106]
  3. [Barzelay's] sharp eye and endearingly nerdy voice enlivens his band's meticulous acoustic pitter-patter.
