One of her best pieces of work, truly great lyricism and a piece of art. I would say that it’s the damn season is one of her best tracks, I just love everything about this album

This album I consider to be one of her best written, the lyrics, the melody, the production is all so beautiful and works so well together. This to me is one of Taylor Swifts most impressive albums. Even in 2023 I’m still listening to this game changing album.

I’ve never thought I would love this album. However, it turned out to be a masterpiece. The vibe of the album is so enchanting. The lyrics of each and every song are so cinematic. “champagne problems”, “tolerate it” , “long story short” and “willow”. are the best tracks in the album.

Easily one of her lyrically strongest albums.

    - "one for the money, two for the show, I never was ready so I watch you go"
    - "I can't stop you putting roots in my dreamland"
    - "forever is the sweetest con"
    - "I made you my temple, my mural my sky; now I'm begging for footnotes in the story of your life"
    - "and I was catching my breath, staring out an open window, catching my death"

Yes, it does have a similar concept, mood, and sound to folklore- but most artists stay in the same/similar genre throughout their entire career. So why can't Taylor? She's pleased us with many genre/style changes and she did it well every single time, and 'folklore' was met with much more than toleration from her fans and critics even after a huge shift in music style- just another reason to stay in this genre. This album being similar to folklore is a very bad reason to say it's trash. Some critics even said it was an upgrade from folklore, which not everyone may agree with and that's fine. But just understand that it's definitely not a horrible album, unlike what some people say.

Do I even need to get into the instrumentals? My favorite was 'tis the d*mn season'.

It's not as good as Folklore, but Evermore (9.5/10) is a wonderful album. It's so underrated and needs more recognition. The songs, like Folklore, are so beautiful and dreamy. Amazing!

is as extraordinarily good as its 'folklore' sister, in a different way, a more mature album (so to speak), it explores themes related to to be or not to be, to go and to stay, to love and to hate. it's extremely well written and well produced, it doesn't disappoint on any track (just like folklore lol)

I would say that it is beautiful work BUT it is really something I have heard and that's bothering me so much. I think this album unaccomplished simply because of its sound. “evermore” is a great album. Whilst being overshadowed by its “sister” album “folklore” it adds back to her country roots in some ways. This is evident in songs like “no body no crime”, “dorothea” and “cowboy like me”. Personally, I prefer this more than “folklore”. My favourites are “ivy”, “right where you left me”, and “long story short.

Fantastic album. The older sister of folklore, in my opinion. I think what really makes this album fantastic is her ability for story telling. In folklore and evermore she learns to tell 3rd person stories and heartbreaks from a perspective that isn't her own. I also think this is mainly because of Joe Alwyn. Not all of the melodies captured my attention straight away but lyrically this album is incredible and so many songs grew on me to the point where there was a huge collection of songs I loved coming back to. It was a grower for me but now I can’t get enough of it.

It feels like a second part of her surprise album folklore. Definitely Taylor Swift know how to make new music without risking her engagement with her fan-base. I'm totally in love.

This album should be illegal, I love it so much, cuz I went thru a literal heartbreak for months, and tracks like “gold rush”, “tis the damn season” and especially “tolerate it” really helped me through it.

Taylor Swift surprised me with the perfect twin of her last album-folklore. In an idyllic style, the beautiful, tranquil melody becomes forceful and decisive at times. Evermore, on the other hand, isn't quite as good as her sister. Music is more bright, more "colorful," but it expresses emotions in a more "complex" way, which is not simply a blasphemed, but also a complement, and it is aTaylor Swift surprised me with the perfect twin of her last album-folklore. Taylor continues to show her evolution as an artist, the versatility of her sound, and the strength of her lyrics. Excellent follow-up to folklore!

Evermore is folklore’s older sister , while folklore is about summer young stories , evermore is about aged winter , you can feel the emotions on this album very well , the song happiness is the best song on the album for me ( it’s about appratiating the good times in the relationship as much as hating the bad moments ) , champagne problems is a masterpiece , gold rush is just simply aEvermore is folklore’s older sister , while folklore is about summer young stories , evermore is about aged winter , you can feel the emotions on this album very well , the song happiness is the best song on the album for me ( it’s about appratiating the good times in the relationship as much as hating the bad moments ) , champagne problems is a masterpiece , gold rush is just simply a work of art , and tolerate it is a very sad emotions well written song , I love this album so much and it has changed my life. How evergreen, our group of friends
Don't think we'll say that word again
And soon they'll have the nerve to deck the halls
    That we once walked through
One for the money, two for the show
I never was ready, so I watch you go
Sometimes you just don't know the answer
'Til someone's on their knees and asks you
"She would've made such a lovely bride
What a shame she's **** in her head, " they said
But you'll find the real thing instead
She'll patch up your tapestry that I shred

It is without question a wintering record, but out of this muted musical landscape songs of great and complex beauty emerge. [Mar 2021, p.34]

Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.

The pandemic seems to have freed her, given her the space to breathe, and has allowed her to produce her most elegant and sophisticated work to date.
