just like it’s predecessor “folklore”, “evermore” has the role of transporting you to another universe, it is as if you are in an epiphany of feelings while listening, leaving you calm and excited at the same time. with “evermore” taylor further proved her artistic versatility and her ability to make incredible music regardless of genre. this pinnacle of this album is on the tracks; “nojust like it’s predecessor “folklore”, “evermore” has the role of transporting you to another universe, it is as if you are in an epiphany of feelings while listening, leaving you calm and excited at the same time. with “evermore” taylor further proved her artistic versatility and her ability to make incredible music regardless of genre. this pinnacle of this album is on the tracks; “no body no crime”, “champagne problems” and “marjorie”. this album is so monumental and gentle. It does feel like a collection of folklore outtakes which i can't decide whether it's due to the closeness in releases (eg.beach houses depression cherry and thank your lucky stars) but otherwise it continues to build in the achievements of folklore but like it's artwork suggests it's a happier version. Autumn after folklore's winter. I found it exceptionally charming like a conversation with an old friend. It's mixture of truth and fiction work so well in building this narrative. I enjoyed no body no crime (i actually gasped and laughed at appropriate moments) ,happiness felt like this is me trying pt.2:the recovery and tolerate it eviscerated me. Closure seemed to borrow grom now frequent collaborator bon iver in it's intro with influence from the percussion of fiona apple. It diverts anyone's expectations for tge song. abd we understand why she doesn't need their ckosure because tge entire notion is an illusion unlike this very real display of artistic genius. Expand

Great album! At lived up to its expectations as folklore's sister. It's the embodiment of a perfect continuation of a literary piece.

Folklore make me feels like she's started to go into the forest for adventure and she's keep telling stories about what she found in the forest as she keeps walking deeper. This album is like she's already walked into the most deep place of the forest and she finally found out the most magical part of the forest. This album is pure magical, pure art, very refreshing and cool just like autumn and winter. The story telling is about all the magic she found inside the forest. It's all so real but not at the same time. It's magic. I don't think someone can make an album that is as good as this one. Folklore and evermore album of the year. Expand

Taylor’s evermore is like a friendlier treat compre to its older sister folklore. The new album is good for celebrations, random family gatherings, friends night games... its just so perfect. Personal favorite - no body no crime.

So beautifully crafted album by the magical music goddess, Tay! Tolerate it, gold rush and no body, no crime are my most favourites!

Apart from being a fantastic Side B to Folklore, Evermore proves itself to be a masterful compilation of tales and impressionist ideas located deep in Swift's head, personified. It is the tail to Folklore's head. It is a Kamala Harris to Folklore's Joe Biden.

El álbum es aburrido y monótono; Taylor es una artista sobrevalorada que no tiene una voz que la distingue de la demás.

This album reflects folkore in a different perspective. New themes and new stories waiting for you in this album. It's a grower like folklore. I don't know which one is more beautiful cz it's not even 12 hours of this album.

It is without question a wintering record, but out of this muted musical landscape songs of great and complex beauty emerge. [Mar 2021, p.34]

Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.

The pandemic seems to have freed her, given her the space to breathe, and has allowed her to produce her most elegant and sophisticated work to date.
