One of her best pieces of work, truly great lyricism and a piece of art. I would say that it’s the damn season is one of her best tracks, I just love everything about this album

This album I consider to be one of her best written, the lyrics, the melody, the production is all so beautiful and works so well together. This to me is one of Taylor Swifts most impressive albums. Even in 2023 I’m still listening to this game changing album.

Best songwriting I have witnessed. It's an art. Ivy would be my best pic from the album.

I’ve never thought I would love this album. However, it turned out to be a masterpiece. The vibe of the album is so enchanting. The lyrics of each and every song are so cinematic. “champagne problems”, “tolerate it” , “long story short” and “willow”. are the best tracks in the album.

Her best record, it has her saddest track 5 and a beautiful tribute to her grandmother. Everything is so brilliant about this album and every feature feel like it does belong within the atmosphere of this record. 10 out 10.

in her nineth studio album, she show us that she is mature, wiser. This is a lyrical masterpiece

I still can't believe she wrote champagne problems, tolerate it, dorothea, ivy, cowboy like me, marjorie, evermore, and right where you left me just to forget evermore exists...

Easily one of her lyrically strongest albums.
for those of you saying the LYRICS are bad (you live under a rock- you should listen to some of the other indie music lyrics and compare them to this album's.), here are some of the best lyrics from this album in my opinion:
    - "one for the money, two for the show, I never was ready so I watch you go" - "I can't stop you putting roots in my

    - "I can't stop you putting roots in my dreamland"

    - "I made you my temple, my mural my sky; now I'm begging for footnotes in the story of your life"
    - "and I was catching my breath, staring out an open window, catching my death"

Yes, it does have a similar concept, mood, and sound to folklore- but most artists stay in the same/similar genre throughout their entire career. So why can't Taylor? She's pleased us with many genre/style changes and she did it well every single time, and 'folklore' was met with much more than toleration from her fans and critics even after a huge shift in music style- just another reason to stay in this genre. This album being similar to folklore is a very bad reason to say it's trash. Some critics even said it was an upgrade from folklore, which not everyone may agree with and that's fine. But just understand that it's definitely not a horrible album, unlike what some people say.

Do I even need to get into the instrumentals? My favorite was 'tis the d*mn season'.

One of her most boring albums along with the rest of her discography, mainly for non colored peopled and just overall BORING. She dated so many men including little boys and makes so much vinyls and cds AND albums, she is one of the most desperate woman i have ever seen. TRASH, BORING, AND LAZY.

It's not as good as Folklore, but Evermore (9.5/10) is a wonderful album. It's so underrated and needs more recognition. The songs, like Folklore, are so beautiful and dreamy. Amazing!

Is one of the best albums of 2020. Both an album with production that seems simple, but when you go deeper it overwhelms you and brings cohesion and harmony between all the musical elements.

'evermore' is a sister album to 'folklore' but I liked it much more than its sister. I can listen to her over and over again.

I know it's 2nd alt genre since folklore. I love it. But folklore is still her best album follow up by evermore. But evermore is best in her discography.

is as extraordinarily good as its 'folklore' sister, in a different way, a more mature album (so to speak), it explores themes related to to be or not to be, to go and to stay, to love and to hate. it's extremely well written and well produced, it doesn't disappoint on any track (just like folklore lol)

I would say that it is beautiful work BUT it is really something I have heard and that's bothering me so much. I think this album unaccomplished simply because of its sound. If there were more deep sounds that would be greater than it now.. Folklore is a lot deeper and express the whole reason to write something like this but 'Evermore' is just countinuing of a great job, nothing more,I would say that it is beautiful work BUT it is really something I have heard and that's bothering me so much. Over the time I understood that evermore is a great wine that keeps all of its taste after years of realizing how damn great this work is!

The lyricism in this album is unmatched, except maybe by folklore but I find the lyrics and individual songs stronger here but the album is less cohesive as folklore. Champagne Problems and Tolerate It are two of the best songs in her discography period. The metaphors in Ivy are chef kiss. This is a very soothing album to listen to. This is folk-indie music, do not expect a pop sound. Mein liebes Swiftlein, wir sollten nach Russland ziehen und dort drei kräftige Buben zeugen, einen davon nennen wir Wladimir. Du hast eine vollkommene Stimme, verlass dich auf sie. One for the money, two for the show, der King wäre stolz.

My absolute favorite Taylor Swift album. Her song writing exceeds any expectation I ever had for her. Aaron Dessner helps drive uniqueness in her music in an invaluable manner. Her & Aaron’s songs are some of her best works to date.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. One of Swift's best albums, an expanded folklore that tackles less melancholy, but more storytelling. Story arcs such as "tis the damn season", and "dorothea", and songs that are stories on their own such as "coney island" give this album a life of its own, instead of just being another folklore. “evermore” is a great album. Whilst being overshadowed by its “sister” album “folklore” it adds back to her country roots in some ways. This is evident in songs like “no body no crime”, “dorothea” and “cowboy like me”. Personally, I prefer this more than “folklore”. My favourites are “ivy”, “right where you left me”, and “long story short.

Compared with Folklore, Evermore is obviously slightly somewhat, but it is still very good, especially Champagne Problems, and songs are very poetic.

It is without question a wintering record, but out of this muted musical landscape songs of great and complex beauty emerge. [Mar 2021, p.34]

Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.

The pandemic seems to have freed her, given her the space to breathe, and has allowed her to produce her most elegant and sophisticated work to date.
