What a delightful surprise , definitely Folklores brother or sister , song such as Willow, Champagne problems, tis, damn season make what to embrace my life as a work of art , and immortalize it in a Polaroid. She can drive us to places and set a movie in 3 minutes with no body no crime. She is working hard, She deserves the best.

    I've cried for 10 hours listening to the album and no, I am not okay. This album boasts a hurricane of emotions intricately woven into hurtfelt words seemingly innocent at first but cuts you deep the instance you play the record. I dived into multiple POVs and mulled, grieved, and weeped over situations I've never been in, and turned into a wreck by the end of it. It's not just theI've cried for 10 hours listening to the album and no, I am not okay. I dived into multiple POVs and mulled, grieved, and weeped over situations I've never been in, and turned into a wreck by the end of it. It's not just the songwriting but the production and melodies. Experimental and though foreign at first, it fits in the narratives perfectly untill I realized I cannot have it any other way after. Also might I just add that Taylor Swift is not known for her vocals but she makes me doubt that in this album because she sounds heavenly.

    This is so amazing, l love both Folklore and Evermore. They always make me feel peaceful, remind me about my childhood memories which had been washed away by my busy life. We chose to wander deeper in".

    The album was produced by Taylor and friends: multiple Grammy award nominee Jack Antonoff, as well as Aaron Dessner, WB, and Justin Vernon. The regular edition consists of 15 tracks, and the deluxe edition consists of 17 tracks. In this work, Taylor is more immersed in herself, giving vent to her imagination, she tries to make this album like a "sister" of the previous record "folklore". Taylor explores many fictional and existing issues and themes, and tells several stories that are riddled with longing and loss, in turn turning into peace and humility. The entire record, like "folklore", is written in the style of indie-folk with a touch of country, indie-pop. The work sounds like a free, open world that defies any rational description, but in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, this release has become an outlet that turns even the closed and boring atmosphere of the house into a boundless universe.

    The album shows all facets of Taylor's poetry, as well as the bands Haim, Bon Iver and The National, collaborations with which are also present on the record. Each track consists of gentle lyrical transitions created from literary tropes, which is only worth a metaphor from the eponymous creation "evermore", recorded with Bon Iver, which refers to the days when we did not remember our past due to long imprisonment: "I rewind thе tape but all it does is pause on thе very moment all was lost". Throughout the composition, one can trace the longing for loved ones and the pain of their loss, because during the still raging pandemic, many families are divided, and many have already lost someone.

    The main track on the album was the inspiring and tender "willow", which pays tribute to the person who was always with the singer and supported her, namely, her boyfriend. She compares his tenderness to "priceless wine" and his personality to "as if you were a mythical thing". In the sound, the main place is occupied by the guitar and piano, which gently convey all this warmth from the writer to the listener, making it possible to feel the comfort that many are deprived of.

    Emotional work will not leave aside any person who decides to listen to this record, because the album is full of many images, characters, thoughts and decisions. The entire created universe gives people the opportunity to immerse themselves more in themselves, but it does not leave the aftertaste of loneliness, which is transformed into something more like accepting their essence and outer shell.

    I would like to mention the tremendous work done in these 139 days since the release of the previous album. This release makes you rethink many things and ask yourself: "maybe not everything is so bad? Can everything turn out for the better?". In this record, melancholy acts not as something boring, background and tedious, but as magical, fascinating and peaceful, which saves a lot of hearts.    … Expand

    In my opinion this album is more complex than Folklore, there are different melodies, alternative but also quite Pop.
    In my opinion it is a successful album, varied and not monotonous, to be listened to several times before really appreciating its complexity

    Alright. First full listen thoughts...it didn’t blow me away immediately as a full album. But, I did appreciate it as a companion to Folklore. I love this sound of hers and can’t help but want a trilogy. As I start my second listen, I’m able to start to appreciate each song lyrically.     She did it again, delivered a incredible work from no where. This is kind a evolution of folklore (sonically), the folklore was more experimental and acoustic, but this one they explored different sound, for exemple the songs willow and gold rush. I still have a lot to dive in.

    Honestly, I was a bit worried at first but she always pulls through, and she def did this time! After listening to this multiple times, this is tied with folklore as her best works, im honestly shocked and im so happy too. Each listen gets better too! The magnificent production on songs like 'gold rush' and 'cowboy like me' are exceptional and serve as some of my faves on the record!Honestly, I was a bit worried at first but she always pulls through, and she def did this time!     Taylor was right when she said evermore was folklore's sister record. It's amazing how the stories on both records are connected yet they tell new stories. Absolutely loved evermore. The lyrical cohesiveness is impressive, and the experimentation with new sounds and instruments is above and beyond. 2020 was a great year for Taylor Swift masterpieces.

    Evermore is like Folklore's younger sister. Listening to it is like eating a box of chocolates, you never know what you're about to hear next. And although Folklore sounded more refined, cautious, cohesive, and mature. This album had the same cohesive sound and mature perspective but this time the execution was made with her new-found wilder spirit.

    Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
